[name]How[/name] is it pronounced? I’m assuming its for a boy? I think I like it
[name]Thay[/name]-er. Yeah it’s starting to grow on me. Not sure about a middle name though
Because I’m not familiar with this name it sounds like I’m saying [name]Sawyer[/name] or [name]Freya[/name] with a lisp.
I agree with milenaviolet!
I just recently discovered [name]Thayer[/name] and I’m currently loving it. But I’m not too sure if I would want to use it.
To me it sounded like I am saying Slayer with a lisp.
Yeah-- reminds me of the furniture maker, and rhymes with slayer.
Not a fan. Sounds like another made up surname/name.
I didn’t vote because I’m on the fence.
I like it because it has a softer sound than [name]Thatcher[/name] and [name]Sawyer[/name].
I dislike it because it feels neither here nor there - like you couldn’t decide between [name]Thatcher[/name] and [name]Sawyer[/name] and decided to smoosh them together.
Dislike. [name]Thayer[/name] has zero substance to me.
Dislike. [name]Thayer[/name] doesn’t have a nice sound to me at all.
It sounds very lispy to me. Perhapth he’ll have E.Eth.P. …a thooth-thayer?
Definitely agree with this… well put!
YES, PLEASE. I would love to see [name]Thayer[/name] used. It’s so handsome and upper-class sounding. What a gem. If we haven’t another boy, he will be [name]Thayer[/name].
I love this name. It’s an underused occupational-type name that has a really nice sound. Since searching for a name for our son, I’ve really started loving the “er” names – not all of them, mind you, some are just too overused for me ([name]Parker[/name], [name]Sawyer[/name], etc.). But [name]Fletcher[/name] I like and this one is even better! I’m surprised by all the dislike for it. It has a really great sound … sounds very British to me, which always makes things sound better.
