Based on the real show The Amazing Race, teams of two will travel around the world to try and win 1,000,000! In the show, the teams get clues and do tasks in various countries, trying not to be the last team to arrive. In the majority of these legs (parts of the Race), there will be an elimination for the last team to arrive, unless spared by a Non-Elimination Leg.
Remember to do Part 1 or the game would not make sense. Use the remaining teams from Part 7.2 and start with the country the teams visited in that part. They will take a charter plane too another country in the continent.
ROADBLOCK (where only one member on the team does the task): One team member must perform a dance routine with a professional dancer from the country. You choose everyone who does this Roadblock.
Roll D6 once for extras to add in. You may choose which team this is for.
1: The team member not performing the Roadblock is getting a bad feeling they should have done the task instead.
2: The team member doing the Roadblock isn’t very graceful though they learn quickly on the timing.
3: The team member doing the Roadblock is doing the best they can, although they’re still feeling sore.
4: The team member not doing the Roadblock is both proud of their teammate and stressed when other teams show up.
5: The team member not doing the Roadblock motivates their teammate and is proud of how far they’ve come, since their teammate wasn’t as attentive before the race.
6: The team member doing the Roadblock feels very passionate with the dance and does better than expected.
DETOUR (where teams must do one of two tasks): Teams must complete a cart racing track under a time limit or cook a meal for a luncheon of hungry locals. You may choose which teams complete which Detour.
Roll D6 twice for extras to add in.
1: A team (you choose) didn’t want to do this task but chose it since they felt it would be faster.
2: The stress gets to a team (you choose) and they break down, but they cool off and finish it for the sake of one another.
3: Two teams (you choose) see each other doing the same Detour task and get anxious, but mostly because they don’t know if they’re first or last.
4: A team (you choose) was really panicking at the time they got to the Detour but after seeing another team (you choose), they’re actually happy knowing they’re not too far behind and could have a shot.
5: A team (you choose) focuses on winning and talks a lot about what this could mean for them both if they won the show.
6: A team (you choose) is happy to be there and make this loud and clear.
PIT STOP: Use the List Randomiser to determine the team placements. The last team on the list is not eliminated however, this is a Non-Elimination Leg, permitting them to stay in the Race! However next Leg, they will get a Speed Bump, a special task only they must complete.
