[name_u]Teddy[/name_u] [name_u]Ray[/name_u]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_u]Blaise[/name_u]
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] / [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is what I’ve come to think of as a hipster staple name. [name_m]Otis[/name_m] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Story[/name_u] fit that category perfectly.
This name is proving a challenge @little_tribe.
I am not reacting to your new list with the same magical feeling sorry. Please don’t let that sway you at all. You came up with [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] so your resourcefulness reigns.
My comments at this point are only
1.Has your husband come up with something? You said you are all musically orientated and that resonates with me. I wonder about his ideas too -or I should assume when you say ‘we’ that does include his suggestions?
2. As I read back through your thread the name [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is the one that stands out for me.
You had [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] from memory and that would be my pick other than [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Story[/name_u].
I commented that it did not have the same oomph as [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Paul[/name_m] but its still very beautiful. 3. Now I question whether I, anyway, am too focused on finding and ‘equal’ too match rather than equal in value- [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Paul[/name_m], instead of creating another unique combo for baby 2 …unique in a different way, particular for a boy.
I also realize i have been thinking -girl - and that that will be your sibset. Totally unknowing if there may be more children later. Please excuse my comment which deserves no answer- its just how my mind has been thinking.
You also named the thread so well!
4. I like [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] & [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] -The other names that jump out at me for a ‘sibset’ for [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] are [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. (at this point - still working through processes)
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] as a middle to certain names often creates a ‘magic’ for me. That [name_u]Gray[/name_u] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as middles may create a seemingly trite ‘color’ theme, perhaps - So I am not limiting [name_f]Rose[/name_f] to a middle.
[name_u]Gray[/name_u], in our family is an old, gentle name -sort of ‘[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]’ style- there is just something that when [name_u]August[/name_u] combines with [name_u]Gray[/name_u] it seems so now and new. The whole a little bigger than the parts.
Please don’t worry to reply. This is just a quick off the top of my head response -nothing substantial. I realized I was limiting myself in my thinking of names by letting [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] dictate. I might come back with a different feel for some on your list. [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_u]MO[/name_u].
