The Final Countdown: Adelyn or Eloise?! HELP!!!

[name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] or [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]?! We’re torn! What are your thoughts?

Thanks a bunch!

Of the two, I prefer [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. If it were [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f], though, that would be my pick.

I second [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and liking [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] better than [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f]. I feel like [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] sounds too made up.

For me, definitely [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]! [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] is perfectly fine, but [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] seems more special to me for some reason.

Would pronounce [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] like adelyn still or adelein? Thanks for the input also!

[name_m]Add[/name_m]-ah-lynn is the way I pronounce it, but [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] gets my vote.

I prefer [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. It just sounds special.

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is much more original than [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] which has many popular variations (all w nn [name_f]Addie[/name_f]) currently.

I vote [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]!

Definitely [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]! Absolutely beautiful!

I love [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] and have never liked [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].

Another vote for [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]!

I would say [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], of the two. I like the nickname potential more ([name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], etc).

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f], definitely.

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] for sure. I’ve developed a sort of aversion to most [name_m]Ad[/name_m]- names; there are just way too many [name_f]Addie[/name_f]'s (and [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]'s!) running around these days.

I’ve actually never liked [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], I think [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] sounds prettier (even though I prefer [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]).

I love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]!

Personally I prefer [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]. Its my favourite girls name but my OH won’t entertain it! :frowning:

I like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].

Another [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] vote I’m afraid.
