The Final Decision

[name]Hi[/name] Berries! My husband and I have finally narrowed down our name list for our third baby. If it’s a girl we have our top five names selected, which is good because I’m due in less than a week!

  • [name]Roslyn[/name]
  • [name]Natalia[/name]
  • [name]Lainey[/name]
  • [name]Blaire[/name]
  • Brookley

What do you think of our top five? Which name is your favourite? What combination of a first and middle name would you choose? We also have a son named Colson [name]Bennett[/name] and a daughter named [name]Briar[/name] [name]Avalon[/name], so which name(s) do you feel go best with our children?

I like [name]Natalia[/name] (though I prefer [name]Natalie[/name] personally) and [name]Blaire[/name]. With the other names, I’d definitely go with [name]Natalia[/name]! [name]Roslyn[/name] and [name]Lainey[/name] are fine, just NMS. [name]Don[/name]'t really like Brookely, kinda trendy for me. I do like [name]Brooke[/name] though!

I like [name]Lainey[/name] with your sibset. Have you thought of it as a nn for [name]Elena[/name]?

I prefer [name]Rosalind[/name] / [name]Rosaline[/name].

[name]Lainey[/name] & [name]Natalia[/name] go best with your sibset. I really like [name]Blaire[/name] but worry of it’s similarity to [name]Briar[/name]. I don’t think either [name]Roslyn[/name] or Brookley fits with your other children’s names.

[name]Rosalyn[/name], [name]Lainey[/name] (I’d go with [name]Laine[/name], and let [name]Lainey[/name] be a nn. [name]Lainey[/name] is a tough name for an adult.), and [name]Blaire[/name]. Those sound really nice with your current kids’ names.

Brookley is kinda strange - she’ll be constantly correcting people who think it should be “[name]Brooklyn[/name]”. Maybe consider [name]Brooklyn[/name] for the formal name, and use Brookley as a nn?

I would go with [name]Natalia[/name], it’s lovely

[name]Roslyn[/name] - My runner-up out of your name; though I do prefer [name]Rosalie[/name]/[name]Rosalia[/name]
[name]Natalia[/name] - My favorite out of your names; pretty, sophisticated, and uncommon.
[name]Lainey[/name] -My little sister’s name is [name]Layne[/name], and we call her Laynie. Strictly a cute nickname for me.
[name]Blaire[/name] - I’m neutral on this one; not sure of what to think of it.
Brookley - Prefer it as a nickname for [name]Brooklyn[/name].

I think [name]Roslyn[/name] and [name]Natalia[/name] work the best with your sibset.

[name]Natalia[/name]-very pretty though most people will mispronounce it I think
[name]Lainey[/name]-[name]LOVE[/name], but my daughter’s nn is [name]Laney[/name] so I’m biased
[name]Blaire[/name]-just not my style
Brookley-great alternative to [name]Brooklyn[/name]

My suggestions:
[name]Delaney[/name] [name]Blair[/name] nn [name]Lainey[/name]
[name]Delaney[/name] [name]Roslyn[/name] nn [name]Lainey[/name]
[name]Laine[/name] Brookley nn [name]Lainey[/name]
[name]Natalia[/name] [name]Blair[/name]
[name]Elaina[/name] [name]Blair[/name] nn [name]Lainey[/name]

I would go with either [name]Natalia[/name] or [name]Lainey[/name].

[name]Blaire[/name] and [name]Briar[/name] just seem to close to me. [name]Don[/name]'t love Brookley… I’d suggest [name]Brooks[/name] for a boy though! And [name]Roslyn[/name] just doesn’t stand out to me as a good match for your other children.
