The final two

Somehow we’ve managed to settle on a name for our little bean before she’s arrived. We didn’t decide on our girls’ names until after they were born so this is a first haha. We’ve chosen…

Beatrix! As we get closer to her due date, it’s the only name that truly feels right; It has a beautiful meaning plus it reminds me of my childhood, being read Beatrix Potter books, I think it fits with Violet and Florence and Bea is the most adorable nickname.

So that just leaves us with finalising her full name and we’re completely torn between these two combos. WDYT?

  • Beatrix Áine Rose
  • Beatrix Margot Róis

Áine is pronounced Awn-Ya and Róis is like Rosh or Rawsh, a cognate of Rose.

The girls both have their birth flower in their full names as well as an Irish middle name so we’re doing the same for this little one. Áine has an amazing meaning and is such a bright, happy name to me then we just love the name Margot. We were so close to using it as her first name but just wasn’t the right fit. It means Pearl which is the June birth stone however, so fits well for this little bean.

If it helps, my girls are Violet Felicity Cara and Florence Aster Bríd (I’ll remove these in a few days for privacy)

Now, I’ve written a novel, I’ll leave and just say thank you in advance!

[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is a beautiful choice! And, I agree, it is perfect with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Florence[/name_u].

[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] Aíne [name_f]Rose[/name_f] gets my vote. I love the gentle flow of Aíne [name_f]Rose[/name_f] following the sparkly [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. The middle names bring perfect balance to the combo, imo.

But you obviously can’t go wrong either way!

[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] Áine [name_f]Rose[/name_f] sounds beautiful. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and Áine are variants of the more common [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_u]Anne[/name_u], giving them familiar yet different vibes. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a classic middle name that ties it all together.

Congratulations for the first name decision! [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is a gorgeous name. Both combinations are wonderful. I have only been able to decide my vote after reading all your post and the reasons why you love each name.
That being said, I believe the perfect name for your third girl is… [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Róis[/name_f]! This name has everything you love.

  1. It sounds amazing with your girls’ names
  2. It contains your daughter’s birth flower
  3. The second middle name is Irish
  4. Allows you to keep a name you love but didn’t use as a first (Margot)
  5. It contains the meaning of your daughter’s birth stone
  6. It’s beautiful and elegant
  7. Has an adorable nickname and wonderful meanings
  8. And finally… Has a lovely flow!
