[name_f]My[/name_f] thoughts on each name:
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]: lovely name which unfortunately isn’t usable for me. Is extremely popular (for good reason, it’s so beautiful) which may or may not be an issue for you- just something to consider.
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f]: I think this would just get lost in amongst all the Amelia’s and Emily’s. Isn’t as pretty as [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] so I wouldn’t use it.
[name_f]Bessie[/name_f]: I have always loved [name_f]Bess[/name_f] but [name_f]Bessie[/name_f] feels a bit too much like a nickname. If I were you I’d use [name_f]Bess[/name_f] (or Elizabeth) and use the nn [name_f]Bessie[/name_f]. Also worth considering that [name_f]Bessie[/name_f] is a common cow name so I’m not sure if you’d want to give your daughter that association.
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]: don’t mind it, don’t love it either. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] on a boy but not a girl for some reason. I love [name_u]Arlie[/name_u] on both genders though.
[name_f]Darcie[/name_f]: I have bad associations with this name so don’t feel I can comment in an unbiased way.
[name_f]Dulcie[/name_f]: am not personally a fan but there’s nothing wrong with it.
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]: another guilty pleasure babe I have always loved. The only thing stopping me using it is the connotations to the f word.
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]: I absolutely love this name. One of my favourites which I would use in a heartbeat.
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]: have never been able to like this name. It is very common too.
[name_f]Emily[/name_f]: such a beautiful, happy name. Very common but possibly worth it for such a pretty, traditionally and timeless name.
[name_f]Ffion[/name_f]: I would have no clue how to pronounce this (from Australia) but I do think the spelling is very pretty and so is the sound.
[name_u]Florence[/name_u]: lovely name, another one if my favourite. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nn [name_f]Flossie[/name_f] as a childhood nn. So traditional and beautiful.
[name_f]Florrie[/name_f]: if you want to call her [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] I would name her [name_u]Florence[/name_u] and use [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] as a nickname. [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] just doesn’t seem professional.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]: very pretty! Have only met a few Freya’s but always loved the name.
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]: have never really liked this one, don’t know why there’s nothing wrong with it.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]: absolutely love this name. So pretty yet could definitely suit a tomboy.
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]: this name doesn’t feel right for me but I have met a few little Harriet’s and I love the name on other people children. [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] can also be a nn for it which I love.
[name_f]Hollie[/name_f]: not too similar to [name_f]Hayley[/name_f] at all. I really like this name.
[name_f]Honey[/name_f]: yes, a little too out there in my opinion. Not a name I would like to have.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]: really like this one too, so pretty.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]: it’s ok, not my favourite but it’s nice.
[name_f]Katie[/name_f]: I don’t mind it, it’s nice but it just isn’t special enough if that makes sense.
[name_f]Layla[/name_f]: prefer the [name_f]Leila[/name_f] spelling but I find this name so perfect and darling.
[name_f]Lillie[/name_f]: this is my favourite spelling. I just feel I know so many Lillies. I would opt for [name_f]Millie[/name_f] or [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] instead.
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]: another that I really like in other peoples children. So cute bit still a well established name which could be carried by an adult.
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]: one if my favourite names. I’m not sure whether it needs to be a nn to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] it not. I think it’s lovely both ways.
[name_f]Marnie[/name_f]: not for me sorry, sounds too old fashioned.
[name_f]Mia[/name_f]: nice but really popular.
[name_f]Millie[/name_f]: love this one. I would do it as a nn for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] though.
[name_f]Mollie[/name_f]: so so so beautiful. I think this name js just perfect.
[name_f]Myla[/name_f]: don’t really like it sorry.
[name_f]Nellie[/name_f]: neutral on this one, it’s ok but seems a but flat.
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]: pretty but there are just too many of them.
[name_f]Orla[/name_f]: not really a fan sorry.
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]: I think this is so cute but can’t really imagine a teenager called poppy which puts me off.
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]: love love love this babe and would use it in a heartbeat.
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]: prefer [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. Though you could potentially get the nn [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] out if [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]: one of my favourite names. So bright and bubbly but snap feminine and pretty.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]: nice but isn’t as pretty as some of your other names
[name_f]Summer[/name_f]: in same category as [name_f]Honey[/name_f], too out there.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]: no, not too out there at all. One of my favourite names which j would love to use on a future child.
[name_f]Tillie[/name_f]: this is my second favourite name. I too have the same problem that I don’t like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] or Ottillie for myself. I know a [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] without a full name and so think it can definitely be done. So pretty yet simple.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]: like it but don’t love it.
[name_u]Zoe[/name_u]: same as [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
I know you didn’t ask for suggestions but I’ll add a few anyway: [name_f]Claudia[/name_f], [name_u]Jules[/name_u], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f] and [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] came to mind from your list.
[name_f]May[/name_f] I suggest you refine your list and make it into a poll for the berries to reply to.
