The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Since I’m only 4 days away from finding out whether Baby is a boy or girl, I’m starting to try and narrow down my girls list a bit to prepare and get some feedback on the considerations I have before taking a top few to S/O

I’m looking for any/all feedback on the list (sorry it’s quite long, but feel free to just give feedback on ones you feel strongly about)!

  • Amelia
  • Amelie (worried it’ll be confused for Emily)
  • Bessie
  • Betsy
  • Charlee/Charlie (iffy bc it’s almost too close to my niece’s name)
  • Daisie (prefer this spelling, sounds very country with our MN and surname, think Daisy Duke).
  • Darcie
  • Dolcie (prefer this spelling to Dulcie)
  • Effie
  • Elsie
  • Ella
  • Emily
  • Ffion (fee-on; too difficult in Canada?)
  • Florence
  • Florrie
  • Freya
  • Gemma
  • Georgia
  • Harriet
  • Hollie (too similar to Haley?)
  • Honey (too out there?)
  • Isla
  • Ivy
  • Katie (one of S/O’s favourites, not sure I’m keen)
  • Layla
  • Lillie (prefer this spelling as it’s honouring someone)
  • Lola
  • Lottie
  • Marnie
  • Mia
  • Millie
  • Mollie
  • Myla
  • Nellie
  • Olivia
  • Orla
  • Poppy
  • Rosie
  • Ruby
  • Scarlett
  • Sienna
  • Sophie
  • Summer
  • Sunday (too out there?)
  • Tallulah (again, too out there?)
  • Tilly (not a fan of longer forms like Matilda or Ottilie - both nice but not for us)
  • Violet
  • Zoe

Again, sorry for the length, but I appreciate anything that may help me come up with a name if Baby is in fact a girl :joy:

Thank you! :two_hearts:

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites from your list that I would personally choose:
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ffion[/name_f] (I think the pronunciation is intuitive!)
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] thoughts on each name:
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]: lovely name which unfortunately isn’t usable for me. Is extremely popular (for good reason, it’s so beautiful) which may or may not be an issue for you- just something to consider.

[name_f]Amelie[/name_f]: I think this would just get lost in amongst all the Amelia’s and Emily’s. Isn’t as pretty as [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] so I wouldn’t use it.

[name_f]Bessie[/name_f]: I have always loved [name_f]Bess[/name_f] but [name_f]Bessie[/name_f] feels a bit too much like a nickname. If I were you I’d use [name_f]Bess[/name_f] (or Elizabeth) and use the nn [name_f]Bessie[/name_f]. Also worth considering that [name_f]Bessie[/name_f] is a common cow name so I’m not sure if you’d want to give your daughter that association.

[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]: don’t mind it, don’t love it either. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] on a boy but not a girl for some reason. I love [name_u]Arlie[/name_u] on both genders though.

[name_f]Darcie[/name_f]: I have bad associations with this name so don’t feel I can comment in an unbiased way.

[name_f]Dulcie[/name_f]: am not personally a fan but there’s nothing wrong with it.

[name_f]Effie[/name_f]: another guilty pleasure babe I have always loved. The only thing stopping me using it is the connotations to the f word.

[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]: I absolutely love this name. One of my favourites which I would use in a heartbeat.

[name_f]Ella[/name_f]: have never been able to like this name. It is very common too.

[name_f]Emily[/name_f]: such a beautiful, happy name. Very common but possibly worth it for such a pretty, traditionally and timeless name.

[name_f]Ffion[/name_f]: I would have no clue how to pronounce this (from Australia) but I do think the spelling is very pretty and so is the sound.

[name_u]Florence[/name_u]: lovely name, another one if my favourite. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nn [name_f]Flossie[/name_f] as a childhood nn. So traditional and beautiful.

[name_f]Florrie[/name_f]: if you want to call her [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] I would name her [name_u]Florence[/name_u] and use [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] as a nickname. [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] just doesn’t seem professional.

[name_f]Freya[/name_f]: very pretty! Have only met a few Freya’s but always loved the name.

[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]: have never really liked this one, don’t know why there’s nothing wrong with it.

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]: absolutely love this name. So pretty yet could definitely suit a tomboy.

[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]: this name doesn’t feel right for me but I have met a few little Harriet’s and I love the name on other people children. [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] can also be a nn for it which I love.

[name_f]Hollie[/name_f]: not too similar to [name_f]Hayley[/name_f] at all. I really like this name.

[name_f]Honey[/name_f]: yes, a little too out there in my opinion. Not a name I would like to have.

[name_f]Isla[/name_f]: really like this one too, so pretty.

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]: it’s ok, not my favourite but it’s nice.

[name_f]Katie[/name_f]: I don’t mind it, it’s nice but it just isn’t special enough if that makes sense.

[name_f]Layla[/name_f]: prefer the [name_f]Leila[/name_f] spelling but I find this name so perfect and darling.

[name_f]Lillie[/name_f]: this is my favourite spelling. I just feel I know so many Lillies. I would opt for [name_f]Millie[/name_f] or [name_f]Tillie[/name_f] instead.

[name_f]Lola[/name_f]: another that I really like in other peoples children. So cute bit still a well established name which could be carried by an adult.

[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]: one if my favourite names. I’m not sure whether it needs to be a nn to [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] it not. I think it’s lovely both ways.

[name_f]Marnie[/name_f]: not for me sorry, sounds too old fashioned.

[name_f]Mia[/name_f]: nice but really popular.

[name_f]Millie[/name_f]: love this one. I would do it as a nn for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] though.

[name_f]Mollie[/name_f]: so so so beautiful. I think this name js just perfect.

[name_f]Myla[/name_f]: don’t really like it sorry.

[name_f]Nellie[/name_f]: neutral on this one, it’s ok but seems a but flat.

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]: pretty but there are just too many of them.

[name_f]Orla[/name_f]: not really a fan sorry.

[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]: I think this is so cute but can’t really imagine a teenager called poppy which puts me off.

[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]: love love love this babe and would use it in a heartbeat.

[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]: prefer [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. Though you could potentially get the nn [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] out if [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].

[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]: one of my favourite names. So bright and bubbly but snap feminine and pretty.

[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]: nice but isn’t as pretty as some of your other names

[name_f]Summer[/name_f]: in same category as [name_f]Honey[/name_f], too out there.

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]: no, not too out there at all. One of my favourite names which j would love to use on a future child.

[name_f]Tillie[/name_f]: this is my second favourite name. I too have the same problem that I don’t like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] or Ottillie for myself. I know a [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] without a full name and so think it can definitely be done. So pretty yet simple.

[name_f]Violet[/name_f]: like it but don’t love it.

[name_u]Zoe[/name_u]: same as [name_f]Violet[/name_f].

I know you didn’t ask for suggestions but I’ll add a few anyway: [name_f]Claudia[/name_f], [name_u]Jules[/name_u], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f] and [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] came to mind from your list.

[name_f]May[/name_f] I suggest you refine your list and make it into a poll for the berries to reply to.

In summary the names I would keep are:
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_u]Florence[/name_u]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_u]Florence[/name_u]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Hollie[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Layla[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]
[name_f]Millie[/name_f]
[name_f]Mollie[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Tillie[/name_f]

This list is so  are you and your S/O settled on a middle name?

I truly think any of this names would be perfect for your little girl. They all are shiny, joyful and fresh.

However, I do have some personal favourite for you

You give me sunshines and glitter vibes, high ponytails with scrunchies, listening to music from a disc-man, a music festival in the summer…

So, from your list, the names that evoke me the same feelings are:

  • [name_f]Charlee[/name_f]: I share the same name with a cousin and we both have very similiar ages. It was never an issue. If you like it, and you feel this is her name, go for it! She won’t be with her cousin 24/7.

  • [name_f]Daisie[/name_f]: I already told you this name with this spelling is really appealing to me.

  • [name_f]Effie[/name_f]: Obsese with this one! It feels “unique” but it’s not (?). A solid nickname that has everything to be used a a full name.

  • [name_u]Florence[/name_u]: would you call her by her full name or would you use [name_f]Florrie[/name_f]? I love [name_u]Florence[/name_u] because it’s elegant but not too posh.

  • [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]: such a gem! [name_f]Vintage[/name_f] and soft, a baby [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] must be the most adorable thing on earth.

  • [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]: in the very unlikely situation that I had a baby now (and that I could use an [name_f]English[/name_f] name for any reason) I would name her [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]. I love it in every possible accent

  • [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]: [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] was my biggest obssesion for years, what can I say?

  • [name_f]Summer[/name_f]: it’s like this name sum up everything I told you that reminds me of you.

  • [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]: A little [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] nicknamed [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]

  • [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]: so cool! [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] sounds like the name of a free-spirit child.

  • [name_u]Zoe[/name_u]: this name makes me think about the Tek-Mate from [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] 101  And about [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] 101, of course. It’s a beautiful name with a beautiful meaning.

And I really like all the -llie/lly names: [name_f]Hollie[/name_f], [name_f]Lillie[/name_f], [name_f]Millie[/name_f], [name_f]Mollie[/name_f], [name_f]Nellie[/name_f], [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]

Since you asked for the ugly I’ll start with that and then end on a good note.

The ones that stood out to me for nixing are:

[name_f]Effie[/name_f]- it really sounds like the swear word IMHO

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]- This unfortunately for me is one that a Disney movie ruined for me way back as a kid. In the movie, Cool Runnings, the team is trying to decide what to name their sled. Someone suggested [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] and everyone else started laughing with one person exclaiming “[spoiler]That sounds like the name of a $20 hooker!” [/spoiler]

[name_f]Bessie[/name_f]: I keep getting cow imagery with this one

[name_f]Charlee[/name_f]: Would it be consistently be mistaken as a nn for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]?

The ones that stood at me for being the most favorable

[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]

To answer some questions

[name_f]Honey[/name_f] - yes too out there for me as a first
[name_f]Hollie[/name_f]- I don’t see [name_u]Haley[/name_u] with this
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f]- I see it as usable
Amelie-I do see this being confused with [name_f]Emily[/name_f] unfortunately

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_u]Florence[/name_u], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Lillie[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Summer[/name_f], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]! [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is not out-there at all, although [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] is only a little bit. You’re good to go.

[name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Mia[/name_f], [name_f]Lillie[/name_f], and [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] are my standouts!

I also really love [name_u]Tallie[/name_u] for you. Maybe as a nickname for [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]?

Ooh, or maybe [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] nn [name_f]Daisie[/name_f]?

Ahhh how exciting I hope everything goes well for you guys! Looking forward to the gender reveal :white_heart:

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites from your list are…

[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] ~ honestly I wouldn’t worry about the confusion with [name_f]Emily[/name_f] it’s a relatively common name that looks different from [name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_u]Florence[/name_u]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f]
[name_f]Marnie[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]

From this list my absolute favourite is [name_f]Effie[/name_f] for you guys. [name_f]Effie[/name_f] is a sweet nickname name that feels outdoorsy with a southern charm which is a vibe you love. However [name_f]Effie[/name_f] is also very British with a sweet classic vibe. [name_f]Effie[/name_f] is unusual but easily recognisable a lovely name.

After [name_f]Effie[/name_f] I love [name_f]Lillie[/name_f] she’s so sweet with a lovely floral connection I also like that this name is a namesake for you guys. I also like [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] & [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] as they have a similar vibe to [name_f]Effie[/name_f]

Once again best wishes & hope everything goes well :tada::tada:

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites for you are Charlee/Charlie, [name_f]Daisie[/name_f], [name_u]Florence[/name_u], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Summer[/name_f], and [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]! They are all bright and sunny and sweet.

The ones I might cut:
[name_f]Bessie[/name_f] (it just reminds me of cows)
[name_f]Honey[/name_f] (it’s sweet but I don’t like it as a given name. I personally wouldn’t want to have everybody calling me Honey)

  • [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] -a solid and safe choice, but doesn’t sing for me

  • [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] -I’ve met a couple and they haven’t really had the [name_f]Emily[/name_f] issue, but it could happen. Still, [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is one of my favourites - pretty and sleek

  • [name_f]Bessie[/name_f] - sweet and charming

  • [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] - warm and cosy

  • Charlee/Charlie -it’s okay, but I don’t love it personally. I could imagine you with a little [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] though, but since the list is long, I’d strike it if it feels close to your niece

  • [name_f]Daisie[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Daisie[/name_f]. Such a cheerful and bright name.

  • [name_f]Darcie[/name_f] - one I associate with you. [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] but not frilly

  • [name_f]Dolcie[/name_f] -sweet and cosy, but from what I’d read, I’m not sure it’s your SO’s vibes

  • [name_f]Effie[/name_f] -cute and vibrant

  • [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] -cosy and warm

  • [name_f]Ella[/name_f] -clear, cute and bright. Safe and solid too

  • [name_f]Emily[/name_f] -pretty cute and warm -also literary (but popular)

  • [name_f]Ffion[/name_f] - I do really like it but i know people in the UK who struggle with it, so it’s probably the same in [name_f]Canada[/name_f]

  • [name_u]Florence[/name_u] - elegant, pretty and strong

  • [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] - I’d keep [name_u]Florence[/name_u] and use [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] as a nn

  • [name_f]Freya[/name_f] -strong but sweet. Not a big love but it isn’t bad

  • [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] -pretty sweet and solid

  • [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] - quite nice. Versatile and strong with nn potential

  • [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] - cute but sophisticated, clunky yet elegant

  • [name_f]Hollie[/name_f] - nice name, spiky yet warm, but it is close to [name_u]Haley[/name_u]

  • [name_f]Honey[/name_f] - I have four Honeys at my current job, met two at my old one. How did that happen? i do quite like it, and it’s one I’d associate with you

  • [name_f]Isla[/name_f] - bright and sharp, but not my favourite in terms of the vibes of the rest of your list

  • [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] -sharp and sweet

  • [name_f]Katie[/name_f] - if you don’t both love it, I’d lose it

  • [name_f]Layla[/name_f] - friendly and pretty, but sveral of spelling variations

  • [name_f]Lillie[/name_f] -pretty and light

  • [name_f]Lola[/name_f] - full of life and charm

  • [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] - cute but versatile

  • [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] -very warm, rugged and lovely

  • [name_f]Mia[/name_f] - sweet and snappy

  • [name_f]Millie[/name_f] -pretty cute and sweet

  • [name_f]Mollie[/name_f] - cosy and warm

  • [name_f]Myla[/name_f] -I don’t mind it but i don’t love how it looks

  • [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] - cute, literary and lovely

  • [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] -solid and universal, but lacks shine for me.

  • [name_f]Orla[/name_f] - love the meaning and strong, rugged sound. Might get linked to oral outside the UK/Ireland

  • [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] -pretty, bubbly and cool

  • [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] -warm and friendly

  • [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] - bubbly and lovely

  • [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] -sharp but sweet

  • [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] -warm and elegant

  • [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] -sleek and stylish

  • [name_f]Summer[/name_f] - sunny and wonderful

  • [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] -it is quite out there and again, from what I’ve read, I’m not sure your SO would go for it

  • [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] -love this, so lively and stylish. I’ve met two Tallulahs who wore it well

  • [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] -love [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]. Sweet, carefree and cool

  • [name_f]Violet[/name_f] -sharp and vintage

  • [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] - stylish, friendly and one I associate with you.

Sorry if that got repetitive, but to sum up, my fave options for you are: [name_u]Zoe[/name_u], [name_f]Darcie[/name_f], [name_f]Daisie[/name_f], Marnje, [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], and [name_u]Florence[/name_u]

I won’t go through name by name as a few others have already but I’ll put my favourites and why -forward! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] it helps!

  • [name_f]Daisie[/name_f] - Such a sweet name and adore this spelling.
  • [name_f]Effie[/name_f] - this is cute and spunky and I think would suit all ages.
  • [name_f]Honey[/name_f] - I personally love this name, but if you are doubting it being too out there then maybe that’s your answer.
  • [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - Gives me soft, nature vibes but is quite popular.
  • [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] - One of those names I think every little girl would love to be called!
  • [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] - [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] and sophisticated.
  • [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] - Another spunky but cute name. Popular but rightly so.
  • [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] - cute!) - probably my favourite on your list. Unusual but recognisable and just downright adorable.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] for you: [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] (Fits your vibe, isn’t super common but still recognisable), [name_f]Bessie[/name_f] (Underrated in my opinion), [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] (Super cute), [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]Lillie[/name_f] (Love this spelling!), [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Nellie[/name_f].

In response to your questions:

  1. In my experience [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] isn’t confused for [name_f]Emily[/name_f], but I guess it depends on the area
  2. [name_f]Ffion[/name_f] is lovely, but pronunciation could potentially be an issue – not a massive one, though
  3. [name_f]Hollie[/name_f] and [name_u]Haley[/name_u] are close but not unusable for me
  4. I love [name_f]Honey[/name_f] but have difficulty imagining it as a first name unfortunately, I think it works as a middle though
  5. [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] are perfectly usable in my opinion

I love [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], [name_f]Effie[/name_f], [name_f]Florrie[/name_f]. So cute!

[name_f]Freya[/name_f] is gorgeous! I would choose that one from your list.

Some names I dislike: [name_f]Honey[/name_f] (seems childlike), [name_f]Mia[/name_f] (overused), [name_f]Ella[/name_f] (overused), [name_f]Hollie[/name_f] (don’t like the -ie part), [name_f]Layla[/name_f] and [name_f]Lola[/name_f] (too many and sound too wild for my taste), [name_f]Marnie[/name_f], [name_f]Myla[/name_f], and [name_f]Orla[/name_f] (unpleasant sounds to me).

Beyond the names I mentioned liking, I also like [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] alike.

[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] is my favorite!

(sorry for previous post, my page jumped and I accidentally hit reply!)

I know I’m just some stranger on the internet, but I’m so excited for you!!

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] - [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is lovely. a super sweet classic!
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] - I’ve never heard of this getting confused with [name_f]Emily[/name_f]! I can see how it could be though. If you think that possibility is a dealbreaker, then I wouldn’t go with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f].
[name_f]Bessie[/name_f] - [name_f]Bessie[/name_f] is super cute. I have heard it be associated with cows very often though :grimacing: also, it reminds me of a rather unfortunate quote from Game of Thrones, but that’s a personal problem
[name_f]Betsy[/name_f] - even cuter than [name_f]Bessie[/name_f]! I’d absolutely love to meet a little [name_f]Betsy[/name_f]. Is [name_u]June[/name_u] still your top pick for middle choice? [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is adorable!!
Charlee/Charlie - [name_f]Charlee[/name_f] is still my #1 choice for you, but I understand why you might hesitate to use it though! I just think it feels so you! Also, it’s good to remember your Charlee/Charlie would be her own person with her own life, and would spend most of it not associated with her cousins name!
[name_f]Daisie[/name_f] - [name_f]Daisie[/name_f] is cute! Is the country sound a plus to you? I think [name_f]Daisie[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] also feels very “country”!
[name_f]Darcie[/name_f] - I’m not the biggest fan of this one, sorry!
[name_f]Dolcie[/name_f] - sweet, but I like a few others more for you!
[name_f]Effie[/name_f] - love [name_f]Effie[/name_f]! It’s beautiful, sweet, and spunky.
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] - cute, very you sounding! I think any “El-” names are going to very common though, if that bothers you!!
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] - short and sweet. I have a little cousin named [name_f]Ella[/name_f], and I’ve always thought it was very cute. Although, she often gets “Umbrella” sung to her
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] - love [name_f]Emily[/name_f]! I think it fits perfectly in the sweet spot of familiar, but not as common anymore. I think of Hocus Pocus too, so it always feels a bit magical to me!
[name_f]Ffion[/name_f] - one of my favorites! I’d be so excited to meet one. I remember instantly falling in love with it the first time I heard it in a show. I live in the US, but I don’t think it would necessarily be too difficult. People might trip up on the double Fs, but the pronunciation is pretty straight forward otherwise.
[name_u]Florence[/name_u] - sweet! [name_u]Florence[/name_u] isn’t my personal favorite, because it just reminds me of the place, but I love the nickname possibilities, especially [name_f]Flora[/name_f]!
[name_f]Florrie[/name_f] - adorable!!! [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] feels more you than [name_u]Florence[/name_u], but if you love both, you could always use [name_u]Florence[/name_u] “Florrie”!
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] - stunning and sweet. I’ve been seeing this used more often lately! It does feel different stylistically to a lot of your names though, especially your boy names, not sure if that’s an issue for you personally though!! (My favorite names are all over the place stylistically so :joy:)
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] - I’m not a fan, sorry!!!
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] - so cute. I have seen people say this name is too dated for a current baby, but I disagree. I love the possibility for sweet [name_f]Hattie[/name_f], too!
[name_f]Hollie[/name_f] - a bit close to [name_u]Haley[/name_u], but not too close! I love [name_f]Hollie[/name_f], it’s so sweet. It depends on if it’s too close for you, though!
[name_f]Honey[/name_f] - this is one of my most beloved names! I personally don’t think it’s too out there, but I can see how others might. It reminds me of both the movie [name_f]Honey[/name_f] (where the name suited her so perfectly!), and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] (which is why I love the name so much )
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] - beautiful and sweet.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] - sweet, but I can never get past the IV association, personally!
[name_f]Katie[/name_f] - I’m not a fan of this one, it does feel slightly too dated for me! [name_f]Katie[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] does feel very much so like an 80s or 90s baby, rather than a 20s one!
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] - love [name_f]Layla[/name_f], so gorgeous!
[name_f]Lillie[/name_f] - [name_f]Lily[/name_f] has just gotten so overused, it feels a bit plain to me, sorry!!!
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] - another favorite, so beautiful and spunky!
[name_f]Lottie[/name_f] - sweet!! I personally prefer [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], though!
[name_f]Marnie[/name_f] - one of my favorites. so magical, sweet, and spunky!
[name_f]Mia[/name_f] - adorable, just very popular. You could also use [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] “Mia” if you wanted!!
[name_f]Mollie[/name_f] - love, love, love this for you! the sweetest!!
[name_f]Myla[/name_f] - cute!
[name_f]Nellie[/name_f] - I really love [name_f]Nell[/name_f], and I want to love [name_f]Nellie[/name_f], but it just reminds me of the artist [name_u]Nelly[/name_u] :sob:
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] - I know how much you love [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], and I think it’s super sweet! I don’t mind how popular it is, because I think it’s beautiful enough that the popularity doesnt matter  reminds me of [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_m]Benson[/name_m], and that’s enough to make me always love Olivia!! :joy:
[name_f]Orla[/name_f] - love [name_f]Orla[/name_f]. [name_f]Beautiful[/name_f], with a great meaning. I wish it wasn’t constantly associated with oral, though :grimacing:
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] - maybe in my personal top 5! I love [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] so much. Very beautiful and sweet and adorable!!
[name_f]Rosie[/name_f] - love [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], it’s one of the sweetest names I could ever think of!!
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] - well, biased here  but I think [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is the most perfect name on your list lol
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] - one of my longest loves, I think it’s stunning. I also love the nn possibilities: [name_u]Scout[/name_u], [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], Scar, [name_u]Arlo[/name_u], [name_f]Carly[/name_f], even [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] could work!!
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] - sweet and warm!
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - oh, I love [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] so much, for the same reason I love [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] sweet, adorable, and magical!
[name_f]Summer[/name_f] - ah, I love this so so much for you!!! bright, warm, sweet. however, [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] might not work as well? That’d be up to you!!
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f] - don’t think [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] is too out there. It feels like one of the word names gaining in popularity! [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] is a cute nn too!!
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] - also don’t think this is too out there. It reminds me of [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_m]Willis[/name_m], I’ve always thought her name was so beautiful! I’ve actually seen it used fairly often, so I don’t see it being weird or out there or anything.
[name_f]Tilly[/name_f] - not my favorite, but very you! I think [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] “Tilly” could work, also!!
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - one of my most favorite names ever, I think it’s beautiful! I think it pairs very nicely with your boys names, too!
[name_u]Zoe[/name_u] - so cute and zippy.

my favorites for you:
[name_f]Charlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Summer[/name_f]
[name_f]Mollie[/name_f]
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Sunday[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Marnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Layla[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Ffion[/name_f]
[name_u]Zoe[/name_u]
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]
[name_f]Betsy[/name_f]
[name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Honey[/name_f]
