The lastborn?

I am trying to see if there are any names out there which mean last born? Or third born maybe?

I have some!

-Trey
-Tripp
-Nyoman

Anele, [name_m]Manzo[/name_m] and [name_m]Tertius[/name_m] are the only ones I could find in the Nameberry advanced search feature. Oh and [name_u]Omega[/name_u] means last too

I should also mention Saburou, AThumani, & even [name_f]Sivan[/name_f] (that one’s kind of a stretch).

My first thought was “Basta!” — Spanish and Italian for “Enough!”, haha

Bastian is actually a pretty cool name!

And [name_u]Julian[/name_u] is often said to mean “young, youthful”, although I believe the meaning is not known for certain.

These are great and very different styles too.

Oh, despite what nameberry says, [name_f]Sivan[/name_f] is gender-neutral!

I could only come up with [name_m]Tri[/name_m], [name_m]Trey[/name_m] [name_m]Tertius[/name_m], [name_m]Manzo[/name_m] and [name_u]Anele[/name_u] on NB as well.

Haha

On BehindtheName I found:

  • Tri (m/f) - (Indonesian) three, third - ultimately from Sanskrit [त्रि] (tri); see also on NB [name_m]Tri[/name_m]
  • Tercero (m) - (Spanish) third - This name was traditionally given to the third child born
  • Fereydoun (m) - (Persian) the third
  • Soner (m) - (Turkish) last man

Ailynn, Azro, [name_m]Artemio[/name_m], [name_f]Erma[/name_f]/Irma, Maziah, [name_f]Merryn[/name_f] and Tamima mean “complete”, which could be seen as “complete family” :slightly_smiling_face:

Loving that idea. :slightly_smiling_face:
