Hey there, I’m working on a story idea that’s all about magic being spread to other worlds in an effort to realize someone’s vision of the future. The idea I had was that each world we visited would operate a little differently when it came to magic, and they would each loosely be based on an element (we’ve all seen ATLA). The only thing tying them together is an origin in song.
But I was also trying to decide if I should include what is sometimes considered the fifth element in magical spaces, Aether / Spirit. Is that worth doing to build out five worlds, or should I just focus on the main four elements?
