These are all masculine names to begin with. [name]How[/name] disappointing.
I agree with flick I don’t see any of these as actually unisex names, and it’s sad to see them catergorised as being so.
[name]Morgan[/name], [name]Avery[/name], [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Emerson[/name], [name]Ezra[/name] and [name]Spencer[/name] are all names I love and I’m finding it hard to vote because I don’t think they are at all unisex.
[name]Quinn[/name] is the only one I can see on a girl, although I’d say [name]Reese[/name] is a little bit of a GP for me on a girl but I’d never use it because [name]Reece[/name]/[name]Rhys[/name] are solely boy’s names.
I agree with you that most of these names I would only use on boys, but they were nominated by Berries, and technically if they have been used for girls at all the name is categorized as “unisex.”
And remember, you’re voting for the one you like best ON A BOY.
[name]Love[/name], love, love [name]Avery[/name]! That by far gets my vote. I know I nominated [name]Bailey[/name] (I love it nearly as much), but I just adore [name]Avery[/name] to pieces. Maybe I just loved [name]Bailey[/name] more the day I actually did the nominations, haha.
I disagree 100% - use on a girl does not make a name unisex at all.
I don’t really see these as unisex, either. It makes me so sad that [name]Quinn[/name] is becoming more popular for girls…it is such a great boys name!
Everybody’s opinion of unisex is different. And, I regret saying that, I would only consider a name unisex if it was WIDELY used for both boys and girls. I usually don’t like unisex names at all.
Which is why I think the two unisex threads could have been left without.
