I’m a teenberry, and it’s always interesting for me to see what names are gonna be used when I’m a parent. So I ask my friends. These are kids from 11-16. It looks like the name future is bright. Hopefully.
Those are lovely names! I will chime in to say that my taste in names from the age of 16 to 28 changed DRAMATICALLY, (and for the better.) So I guess it’s possible a lot of those kids’ tastes will change in the coming years.
I do like [name]Winter[/name], however my family despises it. I won’t be having kids until 2027 ish, so hopefully my child’s name won’t be too popular.
Wow your friends have old taste in names. I haven’t asked, but I’m sure my friends would stick to [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] and [name]Emma[/name]. Also a teen berry.
I’m a teen berry as well! I’m 16 years old, so you can go ahead and add the names in my signature to the list, if you’d like. My friends all have weird tastes in names…They like names like [name]Aquila[/name] and [name]Afton[/name]. Nah.
interesting how for some people taste can change hugely but for others a name can just stick. im 25. one of my best friends in high school was certain her first daughter would be named Tempany Tepanga [name]Renae[/name]. I am endlessly thankful that when her first girl came along she went with [name]Hannah[/name] instead, maybe not very unique but a lot more user friendly!!! When I was a teen I wouldve named a boy [name]Mason[/name] [name]Jai[/name] - maybe not what i would choose now but definitely still in the same vein of the names I like now. My mum says she was 16 when she knew what my name would be. It is very curious to see what the future of names may look like!
I’m 34, and when I was a teenager [name]Vesper[/name] was one of my favorite names for a girl (the others were boring things like [name]Kimberly[/name] and [name]Kayla[/name]). My then-boyfriend (now-husband) hated [name]Vesper[/name] and still does. But I’m happy to see it has gotten some attention on Nameberry lately! My taste and my husband’s are completely different, so we ended up with pretty traditional names for our kids.
I’m an 18-year-old teenberry!
My taste definitely runs towards old-fashioned: my favourites are [name]Harriet[/name], [name]Felicity[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Penelope[/name], [name]Emmeline[/name] and [name]Beatrix[/name]. For boys, I love [name]Theodore[/name], [name]Felix[/name], [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Hugo[/name].
My cousins’ and sister’s favourite names (my friends aren’t really into names like I am, haha) include [name]Georgiana[/name], [name]Annabelle[/name], [name]Rosemary[/name], [name]Sally[/name], [name]Matilda[/name], [name]Audrey[/name]; and [name]Frederick[/name], [name]Charles[/name], [name]William[/name] and [name]James[/name]. I’m really interested to see what we’ll end up naming our children!
When I was a teen I wanted to name my son [name]Nicholas[/name]. I haven’t used it but style wise my actual boys’ names aren’t too different. For the girls, I liked [name]Caitlin[/name] which doesn’t suit me anymore though I went with [name]Katharine[/name] so clearly it wasn’t too dramatic of a shift in style.
