I figured I would start a thread in which we can let [name]Pam[/name] & [name]Linda[/name] know how much we love the new NB and what in particular we like. Also, a great place to point out technical issues we might be having due to the upgrade (which are to be expected) that could be universal so they don’t get inundated with 1000 emails.
I love the new layout - super sexy and it loads better on my iphone and ipad. Awesome!!!
Also love the bonus blog idea and the SuperSearcher. love, love, love.
I am however having the issue (now that I am no longer being logged out every 5 seconds) that it looks like I have written every post. Which is amusing but makes it difficult to respond to people. (Avatars are still the same though - so I know who some of you are).
Lol, I just posted another thread about this, because I am having the same issue. It’s rather unsettling to me. I hope they fix it too! Other than that, the new layout is going to take some getting used to, but I think it’s a very fresh change from the old one.

The issues I’m having are that it looks like every poster is me! I thought I was hacked. I hope I haven’t been. Anyway, its a bit confusing right now and I hope everything gets fixed.
Thanks for starting this thread! I agree, gorgeous new layout. I’m glad I’m not the only one who was seeing my name next to everyone else’s messages and avatars! But doesn’t seem to be happening right now.
I find that it loads more slowly than before and that I can’t find my profile or my inbox on my old [name]Mac[/name] laptop. Although I can find my inbox on my work PC, but then I get an error message. It might be just me or my computer, or maybe it’s just a kink that needs to be figured out.
Works badly on my laptop and on my other computer. Didn’t try on my iphone. But works. I am disappointed by new design, but it’s ok. There’s also possibility that even design was screwed by errors I am getting.
I like the layout, there are some glitches though like the name thing in the forums and when I click on celebrity baby names, the content doesn’t load where it should (to the right) and i have to scroll to the bottom. Otherwise so far everything else is working alright.
I forgot to mention that while the layout is nice I have no idea where I can edit my signature or avatar anymore. Perhaps that will be worked out later, but I just wanted to bring it up.

[name]Artemis[/name] does show up under both (at least in the new Super Search).
yeah, @njordv I tried that too but the “edit profile” section comes up with a database error message.
Oh… fyi if you quote someone their correct sn shows up in the coding. Not that this is super helpful all the time but as a stop gap should anyone care.
When I try to go to subscribed threads it says database error, I am also seeing my name next to everyone else’s avatars, and I can’t get to the page where I would normally edit stuff like my signature.

Hey everyone, this is a good idea. [name]Just[/name] checking in to let you know we are aware of many of the bugs and are working to fix. The everyone-has-your-name forum feature is weird and unsettling and also kind of funny.
I’ve liked just about everything about this new layout so far…except seeing my name under each post. That’s a bit weird. I haven’t run into any other troubles, and it lads really well on my phone and tablet!
