I was visiting family over the holidays and I heard a mom speaking to her daughter who couldn’t have been no more than 3 years old , a very beautiful little girl with platinum blonde hair and the palest blue eyes I have ever seen , what really got my attention was the child’s name the mother called her ""Koture “”. ( which is pronounced the same as “couture”) well I automatically fell in love with the unique spelling and the name fit the tiny princess perfectly as she appeared to be a true fashion statement .
…[name_m]How[/name_m] did you know the spelling if you only heard it spoken?
I had a breif conversation with the mother complimenting the child and her unique name , and she volunteered the unique spelling as well.
Why be so rude about her liking this name and even worse, her story about it? She didn’t even ask for opinions and was probably just posting because this name made her feel excited and she wanted to share. We’ve all had a name do that for us, right? All different names and styles, I’m sure too. The name does hit a lot of pet peeves for me as well, but I’m not here to bash people’s style. We all have different naming styles! One could simply say it’s not your style or you don’t like the name because you aren’t a fan of misspellings, word names, names of objects/materialistic things, etc…but perhaps in a nicer way, if you’re so inclined to share your potentially unwanted opinion.
Edit: at least PP edited your post to remove the paragraph basically calling her a liar about how she knew/didn’t know the spelling. Nice of you!
I agree with @aldabellaxwulfe.
I personally think Koture sounds gross.
“Koture” doesn’t seem like a name to me. Sorry.
