The Possibilities of Penelope

Looking through names the other day (and trying to find great nn for them) I realized something that I think is worth sharing: Yes [name]Penelope[/name] means “Duck”, but it also has a rather large load of NNs.
Most of them VERY cool!

[name]Penelope[/name]:

[name]Pippa[/name]
[name]Pippi[/name]
[name]Lolo[/name]
[name]Nell[/name]!/[name]Nellie[/name]!
[name]Enna[/name]/Ennie
Ello
[name]Ellie[/name]
[name]Pennie[/name]
[name]Poppy[/name]
[name]Polly[/name]/[name]Poll[/name]
[name]Opal[/name] (a bit of a stretch)

I never realized how many nn [name]Penelope[/name] had, that also means it just went 15 spots up my list

[name]Do[/name] you have names that have A LOT of NNs?

[name]Isabel[/name]

[name]Penelope[/name] is in my top 3, with [name]Pippa[/name] as a nn! I just don’t want a name that would cause my daughter to be picked on, and so many people have said that when they hear [name]Penelope[/name] they think of a pig, or Pene-LOPE. What images do you think of when you hear [name]Penelope[/name]?

Well, I think the girls names with the most nns are [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Margaret[/name] and [name]Catherine[/name].
