I had to Google it to have any clue what you were talking about.
Wdyt of [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m](b)?
- Yes I like it
- I do not like it
- I actually prefer it for a girl
- I just dislike this name in general
- Just why? Go with a normal name
- Regina nn [name_u]Reggie[/name_u]
- Remember nn [name_u]Remy[/name_u]
- Renata nn [name_u]Renny[/name_u]
- Rhiannon nn [name_f]Rhia[/name_f]/Ria
- Reverie nn [name_f]Reva[/name_f]
- Rosemary nn [name_u]Romy[/name_u]
- Rosalina nn [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]

- Rosetta nn [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]
- Roxana nn [name_f]Roxy[/name_f]
- Ruth nn [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f]
I like the sound, but it’s too [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] for me
We’ve been stuck in name limbo for our son due beginning of [name_u]March[/name_u]. So today I hand wrote the “final” list of names I like for him -names we’ve discussed. I told husband that he’s to narrow it down, not add to it and we’ll use one of those when we meet him.
This is the list - choose your favourites for Olives brother
I chose [name_f]Clelie[/name_f], but I also really like [name_f]Cleophee[/name_f].
- Keep looking
Which of these mythological goddess names do you most associate someone with black hair?
(If what comes to your mind is different from what is usually depicted in paintings for that goddess, go with your opinion )
this is annoying, because I know exactly what you’re talking about, but [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] would be such a perfect sister for [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
Do you pronounce [name_m]Charles[/name_m] with…
- one syllables (CHARLES)
- two syllables (CHAR-uhls)
Do you pronounce [name_m]Carl[/name_m] with…
- one syllable (KARL)
- two syllables (KAR-ull)
Do you pronounce [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] with…
- two syllables (FRED-rick)
- three syllables (FRE-der-ick)
With [name_m]Frederick[/name_m], technically three syllables but the second one is so short, maybe 2.5?
For the first two, the change in syllables is really small (basically not even there and I count them as 1 syllable names still) but I voted for 2 syllables because the pronunciation written out looks closer to what I actually say.
I know sisters named [name_f]Freya[/name_f] and [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] at the school I work at. It’s a very positive association.
Ignore the last post, it’s not letting me delete it
Okay, hear me out… I’ve been thinking about [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] as a middle for a girl for the last few days. I just think [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] or [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] sounds so pretty! I just think the “[name_f]Rose[/name_f]” part makes it work, like an almost alternative for just having [name_f]Rose[/name_f]? [name_m]Just[/name_m] wondering what you guys think
- My opinion is more complicated (@ me?)
It depends. As a full name, I don’t like Faithie, but as a nickname for [name_f]Faith[/name_f], it’s cute. (Though it’s also my name/the nickname my family sometimes calls me, so I may be biased.)
When I first heard the name [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], I was shocked that it was a boy name because the -rose part reminded me of [name_f]Primrose[/name_f].
