I had a relative with this name! Her nn was usually [name_f]Ammie[/name_f], or [name_f]Ama[/name_f]. But I like [name_u]Rhett[/name_u] being more modern.

A wild idea visited my head this afternoon…

For context, this character is a 9-11yo witch with a cat familiar that she brings (or tries to bring) everywhere, despite living in the real world. So that got me thinking

Older sisters are Drucilla “Dru” and Amoret “Ret”
  • Zephyrine “Zephy” (current name)
  • Hecate “Kitty” (new idea––nn would be used sparingly because I much prefer Hecate to Kitty as a name)
  • Keep looking

Open to other Hecate nicknames too! I’ve been considering Echo (or a spelling variation…)

I pronounce it like “CAT trin”

I think [name_f]Hecate[/name_f] nn [name_u]Tate[/name_u] would go well with [name_u]Dru[/name_u] and Ret!

I misspell Nameberry as Nameberty and Namebetty a lot when I’m on my phone so why not make a poll about it.

Okay, just have to say, these polls you’ve been doing have had me swooning over the idea of [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] as a trio of sisters.

It might just be me but I’m failing to see the cheese here  I do like them as a set!

[name_f]Coretta[/name_f] is similar to coral and [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] is a mermaid  kinda reassures me that you didn’t notice tbh :skull:
