That was a tough one for me! I would have been tied with [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_u]Clare[/name_u] when I first fell in love with names, but thereās something about the [name_f]Claire[/name_f] spelling that intrigues me. And I mean absolutely no offense to your username!!
Haha, thatās okay! Clair.de.lune is French for moonlight ~ Clare is actually my favorite spelling!
As for [name_f]Clara[/name_f], thatās been a favorite of mine with the CLAIR-uh pronunciation for a long, long time!!
I alternate between both [name_f]Clara[/name_f] pronunciations. If the person is British Iād probably say Klar-ruh and if they were American Iād assume it was Clair-uh!
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] and [name_u]Lindon[/name_u] work really well too! I voted for [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] but Iād prefer it spelled [name_f]Lin[/name_f]
Itās kind of in between pronunciations, not as harsh as CLARE-uh but not as soft as KLAR-uh
