[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] for a boy, I’m not big fans of [name_u]Lowell[/name_u] or [name_f]Ethel[/name_f] for any gender but I do like [name_f]Lowri[/name_f].

I’m trying really hard to like [name_m]Linus[/name_m] because it should fit the vibe of names I like and I really like the character [name_m]Linus[/name_m] from House in the cerulean sea but I just find it unpleasant sounding and think of the peanuts character.

I dislike [name_m]Roger[/name_m] in general and for a girl especially with the slang meaning sex

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] “Rory” for a boy would be so cute! And I actually knew an older man named [name_u]Caroll[/name_u] it used to be used for men as well sometimes. [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] for a girl or a gender neutral nickname is definitely growing on me, because it could be short for a number of names.

I know a girl Teddy, from Theodora.

I feel like names common in the 70s, 80s, and 90s would be more surprising because we are trending a lot of vintage names and then some new very trendy names but we haven’t come full circle on those names yet. They’re still “dated” and not vintage.

I think of [name_u]Claude[/name_u] as a soft masc name that could be used as a neutral name. I think of [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] as the femme variant of a [name_u]Claude[/name_u] (there’s a YTer [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] who goes by [name_u]Claude[/name_u] sometimes as a nn and I like it a lot).

Amiable and [name_f]Apricity[/name_f] feel like they could be puritan names (in a good way). I wouldn’t use them on a real kid but I like them.

my fav A word names are arbor, ankh, & avis for a girl, and ash, abbot, & august for a boy. arbor is my very favorite of these as it has a lot of significance and special meaning to my boyfriend and me. we’d love to use it on a daughter someday :brown_heart:
