i know one from italy who pronounces it vyo-la (like vee-oh-lah but 2 syllables!) so that’s how i’ve always said it!

Favorite Adelaide? Added it back to list and think prefer over Adeline .

This always startles me because I can’t imagine NOT having that association, it’s so strong to me that I can’t get past it at all. And I’m American.
