it’s fine and i wouldn’t expect (that many) raised eyebrows, but he would probably get mistaken for a girl from time to time :woman_shrugging: (i’m in america)

I’m in the US, I’ve never heard of a female [name_u]Rory[/name_u] other than the character from [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] Girls. It’s primarily a masculine name in my mind.

[name_f]My[/name_f] very first (b) crush ever was named [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and I was in 3rd grade. It was 1979 lol. Def not raising eyebrows for any gender in this day and time imho!

Outside of [name_u]Rory[/name_u] from [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] Girls, I know of no female [name_u]Rory[/name_u]. I honestly didn’t realize it was unisex til you mentioned it! (I haven’t seen [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] Girls and love golf, so [name_u]Rory[/name_u] McIlroy is the stand-out association!)

I live in [name_f]Canada[/name_f]. I know 3 girl Rory’s (and 1 Rorri) and no boy Rory’s but I still wouldn’t be surprised to meet a boy [name_u]Rory[/name_u]. The name is truly unisex to me.
