Okay y’all… time to be brutally honest with me. Is Virgil at all usable?
Yes
Only as a middle name
Sorry I don’t think so…

Also, what vibes does Virgil have to you?
grand, ancient, bold – like Cicero or Agrippa
vintage, old-mannish, unexpected – like Roscoe or Lloyd
both / somewhere in between
something else?

I had kind of forgotten about the Roman poet? So for me it just has vintage old man vibes but I’m wondering if it’s more grand and ancient feeling to other people
Old mannish, and… for lack of better words, musty? Less [name_m]Roscoe[/name_m], more [name_m]Alford[/name_m], [name_m]Roosevelt[/name_m] and [name_m]Marlon[/name_m]
[name_m]Virgil[/name_m] totally makes me think of the poet, but in a good way!! I would be equally as excited to meet a [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] as I would a little [name_m]Homer[/name_m], and I’d say those give off the same vibes!!
in [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] they’re pronounced the same (both murr-ee)!
[name_m]Murray[/name_m] is a variation of [name_m]Moray[/name_m]. From what I’ve found online, [name_m]Murray[/name_m] is a transliteration of the way that people pronounce [name_m]Moray[/name_m], which is a region in the north of [name_f]Scotland[/name_f].
obviously different places pronounce things differently but here they’re the same
