Lucia or Lusia?
Lusia is more common where I live, but I understand it’s the “incorrect” spelling in most places.
Do you pronounce Lucia and Lusia the same or differently? i.e. Lusia = LOO - see - ah and Lucia = LOO - chee - ah (or another variation)
i don’t exactly pronounce them differently, it just depends on the context? with lusia i’d know how to pronounce it, with lucia i’d have to ask if it’s loo-chee-ah or loo-thee-ah or loo-see-ah, if i didn’t know where she was from! my favourite is the “chee-ah” ending so that’s my go-to, but if i met someone who wasn’t italian or spanish i’d assume “see-ah” and i’d pronounce it the same as lusia
