A continuation of my previous post in this thread (a.k.a. narrowing down the choices for Lachlan’s mn). . .
. . .I’ve listed the choices that got 3 votes or more, narrowing down the list of choices for y’all to pick.
Too close ?

What would you name a sister to Piera and Dido?
what bothers me more is that [name_f]Eve[/name_f] could be a nickname for [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] so it feels like one got the “real” name and the other got an afterthought
I can see this too!!
A bit random, but I just wanted to say I loveeeee [name_f]Dido[/name_f] and it makes me so happy to see it mentioned on here as I don’t see it very often!! I love [name_f]Ines[/name_f], as well. I actually used to have a combo [name_f]Dido[/name_f] [name_f]Ines[/name_f]!

Have always loved Stella so much, even more so after marrying my husband because it suits our surname so well. But it is now SO popular where we live. I see Stella all over the name tags in the hallway picking our son up from Sunday school. Estelle is also pretty and a little less popular, but it feels just… not the same? But at the same time still similar enough to Stella that it might as well be as popular as Stella? Estella might be too fussy? Or just mistaken for Stella constantly, and also sound close enough to Stella that it would make more sense to just use Stella despite its raging popularity.

Honestly [name_f]Dido[/name_f] does not get enough love!
I want to like [name_f]Dido[/name_f] but all I can think of is the singer and she annoys me

If you love [name_f]Stella[/name_f] you should go with that regardless of popularity in my opinion!
I’m surprised it’s popular, i’m assuming with the mention of [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] school you might be in the states. Here in the UK I struggle with [name_f]Stella[/name_f] - it has a middle age woman vibe (Stella McCartney) and other associations that make me dislike it as a name - the adjective ‘stellar’ (pronounced stella) - not that that’s negative but it’s on a par with naming someone Great, in my mind…because people will say ‘he’s stellar, she’s stellar, it’s stellar’ and so it’s made the name weird to me…also it’s a brand name for a popular beer here…all of which makes me dislike it on a real person.
I think [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is really pretty, so that has my vote…especially with [name_f]Essie[/name_f], [name_f]Este[/name_f], [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] or [name_f]Elle[/name_f] as nickname possibilities, but if [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is your longtime fave you should honestly go for that.
