[name_u]Alexis[/name_u] is super popular for boys boys in Hispanic communities, at least where I am. While it grew up with a ton on girl Alexis’s, that’s really only cause it was trending around the years I was born, [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] is more of a classic boy name where I am, and if the last name is Spanish, say [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] Castillo, I’d assume masc
[name_u]Super[/name_u] interesting, I wouldn’t have guessed! This completely hypothetical baby would be native Hawaiian, Chinese, and [name_f]Kiwi[/name_f]. I honestly haven’t met anyone named [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] over in these parts of the world. [name_f]My[/name_f] best friend is named [name_u]Alexis[/name_u], but she lives in the US, so I don’t have anything locally to base it off of!
The names I’d pair it with are quite neutral - the name I like is [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_m]Wing[/name_m] - with [name_m]Wing[/name_m] being a cultural name that has been passed down generationally through my partner’s Chinese ancestry. I feel like all of the names could be used on a girl! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it still works in this case?

I feel this this might depend on her feelings about misspelling and mispronunciation. I don’t think it would be any more a problem than other similar names that have multiple pronunciations and spellings.
It is just the middle (Wilde) but I was thinking that too… it seems like he was well liked but it made me have pause as well… so you think it’s a negative connotation or just character like since that was a performer/ famous person name … like a repeat kinda vibe? Thanks!
