Is [name_m]Tadzio[/name_m]'s main literary association overwhelming?

  • Yes, heā€™s in names purgatory, hanging out with Lolita
  • I know what youā€™re talking about, but it doesnā€™t bother me much or at all
  • I have no idea what youā€™re talking about
  • I have more to say (please comment if you have the time!)

[name_m]Tadzio[/name_m] is a pretty common nickname for [name_m]Tadeusz[/name_m] in Polish culture, so to me it doesnā€™t feel as if the literary association makes it unusableā€¦ If that makes sense?

I love Posy/Posey/Posie as a nickname for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], but as a given name on its own it feels too cutesy and nickname-y

I donā€™t like [name_m]Bing[/name_m] or Bingley as names but Bingley has a positive association because of Pride and Prejudice!

Name that best fits a gothic heroine - raven black hair, pale skin, always in flowing white dresses, a friendly smile with a hint of sinister intentions lurking beneath the surface, an air of mystery and ethereality to her but always cool, calm, and down to earth. The daughter or sister of the man who owns the estate and has lived there since her childhood.

How do you feel about Joan Bernice and Rose Barbara as a sister set?
Iā€™m trying to match the vibe of the moodboard below:

Summary

Other middle name options Iā€™ve considered are: Florence, Gertrude, Geraldine, Magdalene and , Marjorie, with maybe Bly as a second middle for one if Iā€™m going there.

  • I love Bernice and Barbara for middles!
  • I like them, and they fit well
  • I think you should play around more with some of you other options
  • Just not a fan of the set in general

they both hold a lot of connotation for me - Charles Bingley/Jane Austen vs Bing the childrenā€™s tv show rabbit, also bing the inferior search engine to google
