Thoughts on Io (eye-oh) ā€“ not yet super invested so I wonā€™t be offended I have this vague memory of something a la Webkinz that said they wouldnā€™t accept a name under three characters? Is that a thing/problem?

  • Yes, good, big fan
  • Itā€™s fine, it would be fun to meet an Io
  • Nice as a nickname for something like Ione or I___ O___
  • Not into it
  • Doesnā€™t really work as a full name, would avoid (with love)

yes ! i chose sappho for myself a couple of months after i joined (there are some users who still call me by my real name) and added the middle names quite recently. both of my fake middles are vaguely meaningful !

Not sure which one this would fit with, but for me the ā€˜Halā€™ in [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] rhymes with the ā€˜Calā€™ in [name_u]California[/name_u] or [name_m]Calvin[/name_m]. :slight_smile:

Yep, Iā€™ve been [name_f]Indi[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] since I joined (maybe a little while after, took me a few weeks to realise it was a thing), itā€™s a long time love and I canā€™t see myself changing. I donā€™t even have a middle name irl :rofl:

14yo me sort of had the opposite thought? Like maybe if thereā€™s any place that would appreciate my boring real name, it might be a name website lol.

If I could go back and choose a fun fake name, I absolutely would. The consensus just has been that even if I tried, people recognize me more by my real name than by my username haha, so it would be in vain.
