Here’s mine - I also added an eighth way that I say the A sound.

Sound is my top priority when it comes to adding names to my lists, so this is incredibly interesting to me! Over 200 girls’ names on my list start with A because it’s one of my favorite sounds with so many variants. I’d say 1, 3, 4, and especially 7 are my favorites.

  1. Race, Save, Paint - Avery, Casey, Katelyn, Taylor
  2. Father, Caw - Tanya, Natasha
  3. Apple, Cat, Pat - Alice, Calvin, Malcolm, Tabitha
  4. Lamp, Camera, Hand - Anne, Hannah, Amber, Georgiana

Like others, I say jor-jee-AH-na, where the AH-na is like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] from Frozen.

Occasionally I’ll say it with the “a” more like [name_u]Anne[/name_u].
