The Rolling Stones?

My husband and I are brainstorming names. The middle name will be [name_m]Richard[/name_m] as it’s a family name.
What do you all think of the name [name_m]Keith[/name_m]?
And combining it as [name_m]Keith[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]? Too much association to The Rolling Stones?

I also like [name_m]Abram[/name_m], but my husband doesn’t like it at all. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

[name_m]Keith[/name_m] is a bit of a middle-aged man name to me. [name_m]Keith[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] is pretty Rolling Stones but not unusable. I like [name_m]Abram[/name_m] a lot better though.

[name_u]Dean[/name_u]
[name_m]Desmond[/name_m]
[name_m]Gareth[/name_m]
[name_m]Gavin[/name_m]
[name_m]Graham[/name_m]
[name_m]Hayes[/name_m]
[name_m]Heath[/name_m]
[name_m]Ian[/name_m]
[name_u]Keegan[/name_u]
[name_m]Leif[/name_m]
[name_m]Pierce[/name_m]
[name_u]Seth[/name_u]
[name_u]Wade[/name_u]
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m]

I don’t think it’s an issue. [name_m]How[/name_m] often will he be called by his first and middle name?

If I heard the name [name_m]Keith[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m], I would totally think of The Rolling Stones. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing! I still think it’s useable and not an issue… I like the name [name_m]Keith[/name_m] and it’s one you don’t hear often.

Some other thoughts:
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Cole[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_u]Curtis[/name_u] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Gavin[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_u]Kieran[/name_u] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_u]Kyle[/name_u] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Nathan[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Quentin[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Timothy[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]
[name_m]Zachary[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m]

I agree with your husband about [name_m]Abram[/name_m], and wow, how different than [name_m]Keith[/name_m]. I don’t like the [name_m]Keith[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] combo b/c it seems too Stonesy, but I’d rather be named [name_m]Keith[/name_m] than [name_m]Abram[/name_m].

I do think of [name_m]Keith[/name_m] [name_m]Richards[/name_m], but it’s such a positive association - the man is coooool.

I would definitely think of [name_m]Keith[/name_m] [name_m]Richards[/name_m].

I do like [name_m]Abram[/name_m]. I think it has a bit of character and spunk that [name_m]Keith[/name_m] is lacking. My cousin has a boy named [name_m]Abram[/name_m]. That was the first kid I’d heard of with the name, and it took a little bit to grow on me. But now I like it.

I like [name_m]Keith[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m].

Other suggestions:
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m]
[name_m]Philip[/name_m]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]
[name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]
[name_m]Zechariah[/name_m]
[name_m]Timothy[/name_m]
[name_u]Mischa[/name_u]

I can’t help but agree with this.

Hm, I seem to be the only one who thinks this, but I don’t think [name_m]Keith[/name_m] [name_m]Richard[/name_m] is really usable, being almost the exact name of a celebrity (cool or not). It’s just a bit odd to me.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Keir[/name_m], [name_u]Seth[/name_u], [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] or [name_m]Aleph[/name_m]?
