I was almost positive that the royal baby would be a girl named [name]Charlotte[/name]… but I guess I was wrong! It’s a little prince! What do you guys think the name will be? He was born at 4:24 PM and weighed in at 8 lbs, 6 oz. I’m dying to here the name!

A friend of mine tossed out [name]Richard[/name] for the royal name. I think it’s got potential!
I doubt they will call him [name]James[/name], as it’s [name]Kate[/name]'s brother’s name.

[name]Just[/name] as an aside I wonder how much input [name]Kate[/name] and [name]William[/name] actually had in the naming process. So many restrictions, or traditions to be kept, and “so and so is named that so probably not…” At least they get to pick 4 names from those that meet approval!

It might be uncommon here, it isn’t there, it’s the sixth most popular name.
Plus it’s been the name of several kings, and [name]Charles[/name] himself is planning to use [name]George[/name] as his regal name, and not reign as [name]Charles[/name].
So yes, in terms of the UK and royal history, it’s incredibly predictable and somewhat boring.

Am I the only one who is against both [name]George[/name] and [name]Arthur[/name]? I hope they pick [name]Philip[/name] or [name]Alexander[/name]! And I agree with author in writing, now I don’t want [name]Alexander[/name] (even though it can’t really skyrocket, it’s already in the top 10). So I am really hoping for [name]Philip[/name]!
