I am still just over here trying to find a middle that not only works, but sounds GREAT with Clementine!! I am having a hard time with it. It seems everything I look up online via other websites and polls, noun names are said to be “too much” with it, and all that is left are names like Mae, June, Jane, etc.
I’m not keen on this, as I like to pick 2 names I love instead of anything that just “sounds good”…but I really would like to have both if possible! Because the name ends on an “N” sound, it’s like it’s always begging to be flipped to the middle. For example, doesn’t Iris Clementine just sounds so much smoother than Clementine Iris? Or I have I become overly critical trying to solve this one…
Do I just give up and move Clementine to the middle?
My other top contender is Marigold, as I posted about last time. I find it easier to pair middles with.
I think you’re overthinking it. [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] sounds fine together. From your list, I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] sounds great together. [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is good too, but [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] stands out more as a really good combination. [name_f][/name_f]There are lots of names that would go well with [name_f]Clementine[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] Lucy/Lily/Lila etc [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] Martha/Maisie/Mary [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]etc etc [name_f][/name_f]I think if you don’t want a one syllable name in the middle spot, two syllables balances [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] nicely. But there are no rules. If your favourite is [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], stick with that.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is my favourite name and I am searching for years for the perfect middles.

At this monent a daughter (if I had to name her alone) would be [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Patricia[/name_f], but [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Patricia[/name_f] are honour names.
I’m glad I’m not alone! [name_f][/name_f] I think [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] sounds fantastic in the middle. I also think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Elle[/name_f] is gorgeous.
[name_f][/name_f]
I’m just stingy and want 2 names I love enough that if my daughter ever wanted to go by her middle I’d be pretty thrilled with her choice. [name_f][/name_f] And then I also want to smash all my loves into each child in case it’s the last of that gender. Lol.
I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is a really lovely name that deserves to shine upfront however I can see why you’d prefer [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] as I find the name rolls of the tongue easier still I do think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is pretty. Partly I think your pairing [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] with another word name which may be a little off key and could be why your not finding the right name. I do love the bohemian flair of [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] + [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] they do feel joyous. [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is pretty and feels classic however I find [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] a little too colourful.[name_f][/name_f] Finally my favourite is [name_f]Marlowe[/name_f] she’s so stylish and cool with [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] very swoon worthy. I also like that [name_f]Marlowe[/name_f] isn’t a noun name.

You’ve had lots of lovely suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
This helps tremendously! Thank you. [name_f][/name_f] I will be thinking on what you said. [name_f][/name_f] I am working on letting the name be good enough…meaningful enough for me…and not “perfect” by everyone’s standards. [name_f][/name_f] It’s really about what sings to my own spirit! Working on getting in touch with this again.
And once again, I just love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]. I agree that it’s tricky to pair [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] with a middle, since you really do have to stay away from nouns. I mean; you don’t have to. But I get your hesitation.
[name_f][/name_f]
From your list, I think that [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] flows the best. Very cute!
[name_f][/name_f]
Sorry for any repeats, but my favorite [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] combos are:
Oh I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is my favourite name of all time [name_f][/name_f]! She’s just gorgeous [name_f][/name_f]! I currently have [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] in my UC, and I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] works just as well! These are all lovely middle names, she’s beautiful.
