Birth Announcements

In mid-[name]January[/name] we welcomed three beautiful babies:

[name]Hazel[/name] [name]Magnolia[/name] [name]June[/name], [name]August[/name] [name]Django[/name] [name]Kit[/name] & [name]Walter[/name] [name]Phineas[/name] [name]Bay[/name]

[name]Magnolia[/name] honours my mother-in-law, [name]Maggie[/name] ([name]Margaret[/name]), while [name]June[/name] is for the babies’ great-grandmother. [name]Kit[/name] is for their uncle, [name]Christopher[/name], and [name]Bay[/name] has special significance to both of us.
Siblings [name]Emmett[/name] [name]Linus[/name] [name]Jack[/name], [name]Flora[/name] [name]Hermione[/name] [name]Kate[/name], [name]Miles[/name] [name]Oscar[/name] [name]Inigo[/name] ‘[name]Milo[/name]’ and [name]Edith[/name] [name]Marlo[/name] [name]Wren[/name] are ecstatic and adjusting very well. As it happened, they arrived on [name]Flora[/name]'s 7th birthday (she assures us she doesn’t mind sharing) and two days after [name]Edie[/name] turned 3, so [name]January[/name] will be a very busy month for us!

For those of you interested in what they ‘could’ have been called, we went to the hospital with [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name] & [name]Viola[/name]/ [name]Felix[/name], [name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Viola[/name]/ [name]Felix[/name], [name]Jude[/name] & [name]Sebastian[/name] or [name]Calvin[/name], [name]August[/name] & [name]Walter[/name] and…no idea what we’d name a girl and two boys. On another day they might have been [name]Ramona[/name], [name]Felix[/name] & [name]Jude[/name]/ [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Felix[/name] & [name]Sebastian[/name] / [name]Walter[/name], [name]Phineas[/name] & [name]Mabel[/name] or even [name]Dexter[/name], [name]Phineas[/name] & [name]Maple[/name]. But, as corny as it sounds, [name]Hazel[/name] is definitely a [name]Hazel[/name], [name]August[/name] is an [name]August[/name] and [name]Walter[/name] is a [name]Walter[/name] through and through. We thought we might use [name]Gus[/name] & [name]Walt[/name] as nicknames for the boys but so far we haven’t.

All three are doing well and it won’t be long until the 9 (!) of us are all at home together.
