For [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]'s name, we first agreed on [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Then, we completely change our minds when we heard [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. It’s romantic and feminine, a great alternative to the overused [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], and also a way to honor my grandmother, [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. [name_f]Florence[/name_f] is after the beautiful italian city, where my husband and I went on holiday when I was pregnant. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]'s birthstone, which symbolizes the month of [name_u]June[/name_u].
Originally, we wanted to name our son [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but I fell in love with the lovely romantic [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]. [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] was our second favourite name, and [name_u]River[/name_u] is because we’re nature lovers !
