Beyond excited to announce my twinnies arrived on the 15th of [name_f]October[/name_f] at 37 weeks (so grateful we made it to term). We have named them [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]. [name_u]Theo[/name_u] came in weighing 5 pounds 4 oz and [name_f]Emmie[/name_f] weighed 5 pounds 7 oz. Both healthy, happy, wrinkly little babies and I’m over the moon (and exhausted). We chose [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] because we adore the names and my husband likes more traditional names and I loved the old timey feel they both had. Plus, they went together nicely without being matchey, matchey. Their middle names both come from our respective grandparents on our Mum’s sides. And don’t worry, our last name is very short so the long first+middle isn’t too big a problem.
Congrats!! [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] are wonderful names, and they work really well together as sibling names! [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] has also been a favorite of mine for years.
