I am so proud to announce the arrival of my little baby boys, [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_u]Frost[/name_u] and [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]!
The babes came in at 6 pounds 2 ounces and 3 pounds 8 ounces, and although [name_u]Logan[/name_u] was able to go home yesterday, six days after their birthday on [name_u]August[/name_u] 31, little [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]'s crib is still awaiting its owner 
However, aside from slight jondice, both boys should be fine and are quite healthy, especially considering they were born four weeks early (they’re strong little ones :D)!
Now, for their names. Being named [name_f]Janiyah[/name_f], and having had to suffer from countless mispronunciations throughout the years, I wanted my boys to have fairly common, traditional names (that is not to say I am not extremely confident in having an ethnic name, I just didn’t want my children to go through the same thing I did, in terms of pronunciation issues).
[name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_u]Frost[/name_u] was a name my fiance and I had settled on from the getco. I have adored the name [name_u]Logan[/name_u] for as long as I could remember, and although I know it is extremely popular, in my area (I work at a daycare), there aren’t too many little Logans running around. My fiance’s name is also [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m], so we felt it was perfect, since the first two letters are the same. We decided on [name_u]Frost[/name_u] because we are both very passionate about nature and embracing the earth, and we met when we were working at a [name_u]Colorado[/name_u] ski resort, so winter word names seemed perfect!
For [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]'s name, [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] and I had a lot of trouble deciding. For weeks, we were settled on the name [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_u]Reeve[/name_u], but after hearing my nephew chant “[name_m]Lucas[/name_m] Mucas Pucas” when we told him the name we were considering, we decided we needed a change. After sifting through countless baby name books, we decided on the name [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_u]Reeve[/name_u], but my cousin gave birth to her first child three weeks ago, and guess what she named her? [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]! So after that, we were extremely confused on what to settle on. Then, we had what I believe must have been destiny. Both [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m] and I called our mothers and asked what names they though would go well with [name_u]Logan[/name_u], and they BOTH suggested [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]. After that, we were definitely set on that name, regardless of how popular it is. As for his middle name, [name_m]Enzo[/name_m] and I felt we should choose another super naturey (I know that isn’t a word :D) winter-themed middle name. We decided fairly quickly on [name_f]Snow[/name_f], and even though I initially thought it sounded to feminine, I soon realized how interesting pairing such a unique name with such a popular name was!
I am so excited to start raising my bubbas!
