1. My name is [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I had mixed feelings about my name growing up and often wished for a name that wasn’t so formal and girly. However, I always appreciated the fact that I was the only [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] in my class and I loved my family’s nickname for me (Fliss) and my friends’ nickname for me ([name_f]Flick[/name_f]). I thought [name_f]Jane[/name_f] was a little boring in the middle, particularly as there was no special meaning or story behind it. However, I couldn’t think of a more perfect middle name for [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] now. I love my name now and I wouldn’t change it for anything.
2. I don’t have children.
3. [name_m]Otis[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
4. [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
5.
B/B - [name_m]Otis[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
G/B - [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_m]Otis[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
G/G - [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
6. My ideal number of children is… 2. Girls: [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] and [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]. Boys: [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_m]Tobias[/name_m].
7. [name_m]Palmer[/name_m] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (g) / Tovey [name_m]William[/name_m] (b)
8. [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] ([name_m]John[/name_m] + [name_u]Julie[/name_u])
9. I would choose the name [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f] Juliff. My mum was an [name_m]Elvis[/name_m] [name_u]Presley[/name_u] fan and wanted to call me [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]. Dad exercised his veto and voila, I was named [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] instead. Juliff is what my real surname should be. When a family member was investigating our ancestry, we discovered that my great-grandfather is not my real great-grandfather and our surname should be Juliff.
10. They have to order Starbucks every day for a week and tell the barista behind the counter that their name is whatever they are considering for their child. If they’re not embarrassed, or frustrated by spelling/pronunciation issues by the end of the week, then by all means go ahead and use the name.
11. [name_f]Alba[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] ([name_f]Alba[/name_f] is the Scottish Gaelic name for [name_f]Scotland[/name_f]) and [name_u]Memphis[/name_u] [name_m]Birch[/name_m]
12. [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]. It’s the name of one of Design Mom’s children and it always seems to me to be the perfect vintage girls name. Also, [name_u]June[/name_u] was my grandmother’s middle name, and many members of my family, including her, were born in the month of [name_u]June[/name_u].
[name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m]. [name_m]Felix[/name_m] because it has the same meaning as [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] (happy). And [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m] because it would honour his father, [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m].
13. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] (g) / [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_m]Julian[/name_m] (b)
14. [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] (g) / [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] (b)
15. [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_u]Eleven[/name_u] ([name_f]Esme[/name_f] from the Twilight movies, and [name_u]Eleven[/name_u] from the Netflix series Stranger Things) and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] ([name_m]Ezra[/name_m] from Pretty [name_m]Little[/name_m] Liars and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] from the Twilight movies)
16. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_m]Bennet[/name_m] ([name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_m]Buchanan[/name_m] from The Great [name_m]Gatsby[/name_m], and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Bennet[/name_m] from Pride & Prejudice) and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] ([name_m]Edmund[/name_m] from The [name_m]Lion[/name_m], the Witch and the Wardrobe, and [name_m]Tom[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] from The Adventures of [name_m]Tom[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u])
17. [name_u]Zooey[/name_u] [name_f]Yolanda[/name_f] (g) / [name_u]Quin[/name_u] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] (b)
18. [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. My niece’s name is [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] is just too similar to [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] for me to use it now. I can just imagine my parents saying they had two grand-daughters called [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and it makes me cringe. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] was my grandmother’s name and I would love to use it in the middle, but [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is so overdone in the middle I just couldn’t bring myself to use it.
[name_u]Kingsley[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]. [name_u]Kingsley[/name_u] after my OHs grandfather, [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_u]Kingsley[/name_u], and [name_u]James[/name_u] after my brother, [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]. I can’t imagine using [name_u]Kingsley[/name_u] because of the [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] connection and it’s similarity to girls names like [name_f]Kinsey[/name_f]/[name_f]Kinsley[/name_f]. And as much as I love [name_u]James[/name_u], I just find it a little ho-hum in the middle spot. It’s the boys equivalent of [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (or [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_f]Marie[/name_f] when I was growing up).
19. I would rename [name_u]Reign[/name_u] [name_m]Aston[/name_m] Disick, because it was such a disappointing choice after [name_f]Kourtney[/name_f] named her first children [name_u]Mason[/name_u] [name_u]Dash[/name_u] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Scotland[/name_f]. I would make a small change by moving [name_m]Aston[/name_m] to the first name spot and changing it to the up-and-coming name [name_m]Asher[/name_m]. And I would change the spelling of [name_u]Reign[/name_u] to [name_u]Rain[/name_u]. Therefore, [name_u]Reign[/name_u] [name_m]Aston[/name_m] Disick would become [name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_u]Rain[/name_u] Disick.
20. The worst name I’ve heard recently is [name_m]Essex[/name_m].
