Thea or Marin?

Hia all

We are wavering on our girls name … we can’t decide nothing seems too stick

We have it down too two names

[name_f]Marin[/name_f] or [name_f]Thea[/name_f]

Is thea now too popular .?

. she would likely be [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

Is marin to masculine ?

[name_f]Marin[/name_f] elizabeth

Any suggestions as siblings are [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] and [name_u]Tate[/name_u]
Thank you … I’ll do a poll also

I think [name_f]Marin[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is so pretty! Though I do prefer the spelling [name_f]Maren[/name_f]. It also goes well with [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] and [name_u]Tate[/name_u].

If you’re looking for other ideas…
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

My favorite of the two is [name_f]Thea[/name_f], but I think that [name_f]Marin[/name_f] flows much better with [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] and [name_u]Tate[/name_u]. [name_m]How[/name_m] would [name_f]Marin[/name_f] be pronounced? Like [name_f]Mare[/name_f]-in or Muh-ryn?

[name_f]Marin[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]!

[name_f]Thea[/name_f] is a pretty name, but [name_f]Marin[/name_f] feels much more mature and distinctive to me. I also agree that it feels like the slightly better fit with the sib names (plus no repeated initial), although [name_f]Thea[/name_f] works well too.

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] might be my slight spelling preference too, but [name_f]Marin[/name_f] is also beautiful as is!

Thanks all … it would be pronounced mah -rin … I agree I do think [name_f]Maren[/name_f] sounds more feminine but my Dh doesn’t like it he thinks it sounds too much like [name_f]Karen[/name_f] … :£

While I prefer the name [name_f]Thea[/name_f] by far as a standalone name, I think that [name_f]Marin[/name_f] fits in better with [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] and [name_u]Tate[/name_u]. [name_f]Marin[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is lovely, and I don’t find it any more masculine-sounding than your other children’s names. I think it sounds distinctly unisex, while slightly leaning towards being feminine.
Good luck, and I hope you settle on a name you love!

Thank you for your feedback ladies. X
