Anyone have themed names?
Like all floral names or all nature names or any other theme?
My girls both happen to have names with flower meanings as middle names, and their first names are both 5 letters. It wasn’t really done on purpose though. We are having a third girl and I’m not sure if we will use a flower middle name. It’s not too obvious right now. They are [name_f]Noemí[/name_f] [name_f]Xochitl[/name_f] and [name_f]Kiana[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
My kids all three have five letter names too on accident haha
My grandma had sisters
Lillian
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
And my Grandma is [name_f]Marjorie[/name_f]… talk about breaking a theme
My family including my parents all start with a M and are either Scottish, Irish or Gaelic in origin
I also know people who the kids are in groups of names: 2 kids S, 2 kids D, 1 kid T and the parents are both T
Another family both parents are H’s and the 3 kids are R
Thank you for stating that. It reminded me of one closer to home. In my cousin’s family, her daughters are Ks, her son is B and she & her husband are both Bs.
Oh I also know a family where boys are
[name_m]Jake[/name_m]
[name_u]Jayden[/name_u]
Girls are
[name_f]Karlie[/name_f]
[name_f]Kayla[/name_f]
I am hoping that next our next baby we find a B name we can agree on to have the ABCD theme.
I know many families who chose a middle name after a saint.
Our kids all have [name_m]German[/name_m] names, and a saint middle.
My fiancée’s family is Jacy Lee, Jenna Lynn, and Jordan Lindsey
My cousins have the hard K sound Kaitlyn, Courtney, and Kimberly
Me, my step siblings, and their half sister all have As- Amanda, Anthony, Angela, and Ashley
I heard this was a general Catholic thing?
It’s a cute idea… but no-one’s ever going to have 26 kids! So what about all the other cool names in the alphabet? Someone needs to do this but starting in the middle or near the end. STUV or PQRS.
My siblings and I have our first names make ARS, my Mum always used to joke that sbe wanted Emily or Edward for a 4th.
We all have 1 syllable names w a short vowel. But thats just because of the sounds I like, not so much a theme.
We didn’t mean to originally, but ended up with some…
Bible, Hebrew, or Greek/Latin w/biblical meaning names.
Most have an -ah or -iah somewhere
5 syllables total for first and middle (have thought about breaking that this time, but she is #9 and it feels weird).
