Theo, Cedric, Calvin? oh my

Hello. My husband and I are expecting our first child. Since we’re keeping the sex a surprise, we’re brainstorming names for both boys and girls. (Well, only boys since we are almost postive that our girl name will be [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Margaret[/name].)

Definitely need some opinions on the following names. ([name]Don[/name]'t want to solicit help from friends or family. Too many opinions.) Our last name is Hand, and I’m just wondering what goes best with Hand.

[name]Theodor[/name] “[name]Theo[/name]” (This may be my favorite, but not sure if [name]Theo[/name] Hand flows easily. Is it too much “H” sound?)
[name]Cedric[/name]
[name]Calvin[/name]
[name]Eric[/name]
[name]Charles[/name] ([name]Charlie[/name])
[name]Robert[/name] ([name]Bobby[/name])
[name]Jasper[/name]

Thanks for your help!

I love all your names! It’s hard for me to pick ultimate favorite.
I think this is how I like them, from best to the least best:
[name]Theodor[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Charles[/name]
[name]Robert[/name]
[name]Calvin[/name]
[name]Cedric[/name]
[name]Eric[/name]

[name]Hi[/name]! Congratulations! I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] so much! I think it’s gorgeous!

[name]Theodor[/name] “[name]Theo[/name]” (This may be my favorite, but not sure if [name]Theo[/name] Hand flows easily. Is it too much “H” sound?): I love [name]Theodore[/name] so much, and I personally don’t see any problem with [name]Theodore[/name] Hand or [name]Theo[/name] Hand.

[name]Cedric[/name]: I think it’s a cool name, but when I say [name]Cedric[/name] Hand out loud, the second c from [name]Cedric[/name] attaches to Hand, and it sounds like Cedrih Canned.

[name]Calvin[/name]: I love [name]Calvin[/name]! I think it’s such a great name!

[name]Eric[/name]: I like some of the other names more with your last name because of the final C, as with [name]Cedric[/name].

[name]Charles[/name] ([name]Charlie[/name]): I love [name]Charles[/name]! I love the longer [name]Theodore[/name] with your last, name, but I love, love, love the name [name]Charles[/name], nn [name]Charlie[/name].

[name]Robert[/name] ([name]Bobby[/name]): I think that [name]Robert[/name] is really handsome, but I just love [name]Theodore[/name] and [name]Calvin[/name] more…

[name]Jasper[/name]: I think it’s a great name…

My personal favorite from your list, both on its own and with your last name, is [name]Theodore[/name]. What about [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Calvin[/name]?

Some you you may like with your last name: [name]Everett[/name], [name]Elliot[/name] (nn [name]Eli[/name] or [name]Leo[/name]), or [name]Oliver[/name] (then again, [name]Oliver[/name] Hand sounds a bit like “all over hand” to me).

Best wishes to you!

[name]Theodor[/name] “[name]Theo[/name]” (This may be my favorite, but not sure if [name]Theo[/name] Hand flows easily. Is it too much “H” sound?)–I love [name]Theodor[/name], such a handsome name. And I prefer the spelling without the e. I dont see a problem with [name]Theo[/name] Hand at all.
[name]Cedric[/name]-- I dont love this name but it is nice.
[name]Calvin[/name]-- I love [name]Calvin[/name] with the nn [name]Cal[/name]. Its lovely.
[name]Eric[/name]- I know so many Erics that are my age, it sounds very 80s to me.
[name]Charles[/name] ([name]Charlie[/name])- Cute but I prefer [name]Calvin[/name] and [name]Theodor[/name]. They re more original. I know lots of Charlies.
[name]Robert[/name] ([name]Bobby[/name])-I dont like [name]Robert[/name] at all. It is kinda dull imo.
[name]Jasper[/name]- [name]Love[/name] [name]Jasper[/name], super handsome. [name]Jasper[/name] and [name]Calvin[/name] would make a lovely sibset.

My favorites are [name]Theodor[/name], [name]Calvin[/name] and [name]Jasper[/name].
