[name]Elliot[/name]! I do love [name]Theo[/name] but it is way too similar to [name]Milo[/name]. If you pick [name]Elliot[/name] then all your children will have different endings to their names, which I think is ideal.
They’re both great, but I tend to lean toward [name]Elliot[/name] too. Especially if [name]Leon[/name] ever goes by [name]Leo[/name] (now or in the future), [name]Theo[/name] is awfully similar to [name]Leo[/name].
I love your children’s names and I love both of your choices.
My vote goes for [name]Elliot[/name], though. While I love [name]Theo[/name], the fact that you have a [name]Milo[/name] makes [name]Elliot[/name] a better option in my opinion - though, like I said, I love both options and [name]Theo[/name] still works.
Sorry to disagree with all of you. But to me [name]Elliot[/name] seems very mainstream in comparison to your other childrens names. [name]Theo[/name] is a strong name that is not nearly as popular as [name]Elliot[/name].
[name]Theo[/name] is way too close to [name]Leon[/name] (almost a tongue twister when said together), but also too close to [name]Milo[/name] with the O endings, and is another T name like [name]Tessa[/name]. I just don’t think it works at all.
Also, [name]Theo[/name] alone sounds incomplete. If it is a nn for [name]Theodore[/name], that would be better, and might eliminate some of the issues of sounding too similar to your other children’s names, BUT not really because you are still planning to call him [name]Theo[/name] for short, not to mention that [name]Theodore[/name] in full actually doesn’t seem to fit well in style with your other children’s names.
[name]Elliot[/name] works better, especially nn [name]Eli[/name], but actually I think [name]Elliot[/name] and [name]Leon[/name] are also way too close.
The good news is you seem to have consistency in the sounds you like, but I guess it gets hard once you are upward of three children.
Have you considered just [name]Eli[/name]? I think it would fit in quite well with your other children’s names, but has a distinct enough sound to not clash with any of them.
I’m going to vote [name]Elliot[/name] for the excellent reasons given by others. I actually prefer [name]Theo[/name] as a name, but think with the rest of your children’s names that [name]Elliot[/name] makes a more distinct yet compatible pairing.
