Theodora

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you know a [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]? I don’t (but know a handful of Theodores) and am considering it for our third now. I’ve posted a million times these past few months and all the responses have helped me narrow our third daughter down to [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] or [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. I’m now wondering if we should use/consider [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and call her [name_f]Tess[/name_f]. Big sisters are [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f].

Any comments or opinions are more than welcome!!

I have never met a [name_f]Theodora[/name_f], but i have met a [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. It’s a lovely name, with a very sweet meaning. I love it! I would suggest to use [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] (which is so stunning, by the way) and use [name_f]Tess[/name_f] as a spunky nickname. I find that having a longer, more formal name would go wonderfully with [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], and would be a good option if she prefers it when she is older. [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] is lovely and classic, and goes beautifully with her sisters’ names. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is a sweet addition, and it is such a lovely idea for all three girls to have a floral middle! I vote [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]!

I love it! It is pretty daring with your other girls, but it works.

I looooove [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]! And [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] nicknamed [name_f]Tess[/name_f] sounds amazing to me. It’s a little more out-there than [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], but nothing crazy. And to me, it matches your girls better since [name_f]Tess[/name_f] is such a short name next to [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. With [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] being on the rise, I think [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] would turn into a more ‘recognizable’ name without being popular, which to me, it’s perfect. Good luck!
