There Is A List!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I seriously cannot say thank you enough for all of the wonderful names earlier! I’ve actually gotten my husband to go through the ones I liked and WE HAVE A LIST!!! Woo!! Haha

Anyway, from the list; which do you like? We’re not totally sure what we’re doing for a middle name, but I’d really love to use a family name from the list that was on my first thread. I am still open to looking at other names, but just keep in mind that it’s pretty hard since a lot of my favorites have already been used in the family (which is a huge no no for my husband) or I probably had them on my long list and he shot them down. So I apologize in advance if you give suggestions and I say no to them!!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Celia[/name_f] (maybe [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Celia[/name_f]?)
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Nora[/name_f] (maybe [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f]?)
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f]/[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] (which spelling do you prefer?)
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]

Edit: Please do not include popularity into your response. Popularity does not matter to us (we know it does to some) and also popularity differs from place to place so keep that in mind  If you think a name is super pretty (but happens to be more common) please say that you think it’s pretty! We want something that is beautiful rather than having to constantly worry about how popular all of our names are

I love [name_f]Bridget[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].

I appreciate these although they are not my style or taste: [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].

I dislike [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f](bad association), [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Celia[/name_f] (bad association)-no offense. names I didn’t mention I am neutral on.

Names I like or are neutral with that are similar to the ones I dislike:
You may like them:
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Cyra[/name_f] ( sigh rah )
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Talia[/name_f] ( tall ya )
[name_f]Delia[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellen[/name_f]
[name_u]Ellis[/name_u]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f]

The ones I like:

[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Delia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]! I’ll mention those to my husband later.

I also like [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]; [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] was on my longer list but my husband really disliked it and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is already used in the family

[name_u]Love[/name_u]
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] (CiCi/[name_f]CeCe[/name_f] is a cute nn, too.)
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]

Like
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (I love [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_u]Nori[/name_u].)
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f]

Dislike
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] (I love [name_f]Claire[/name_f], though.)
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]

[name_f]Delia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] - I love these suggestions - especially [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] even more!

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think CiCi/[name_f]CeCe[/name_f] would be inevitable? I really, really dislike (borderline hate) the sound of that but I like [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Celia[/name_f]. If CiCi/[name_f]CeCe[/name_f] were to be inevitable I’d tell my husband I’d like to remove it from our options. (Same with [name_u]Nori[/name_u] but I feel that name would be easier to avoid)

Can’t use [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]; it’s too close to [name_f]Lila[/name_f] which is a family name (I’m a bit worried my husband will think [name_f]Delia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] are too close as well and [name_f]Delia[/name_f] being close to [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f])

You have lovely taste

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]- while respectable, has never popped for me. it’s just meh compared to some of your other options.
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]- beautiful, I’m a huge fan. soooo underused.
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Celia[/name_f] (maybe [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Celia[/name_f]?)- [name_f]Celia[/name_f] was my favorite name for years and years. I think both names are perfect. However, I would not do [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Celia[/name_f]- [name_f]Celia[/name_f] can stand on its own very well. Defs pick one.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]- gorgeous, but the number of little Charlottes I know…
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]- lovely, also becoming quite trendy
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Nora[/name_f] (maybe [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f]?)- lovely, also becoming quite trendy
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]- pretty, but I’m not the biggest fan
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]- lovely, also becoming quite trendy. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the more uncommon [name_f]Evie[/name_f] nickname
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]- similar to my feelings about [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. [name_f]Adore[/name_f] this name.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]- lovely, also becoming quite trendy
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]- lovely, also becoming quite trendy
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]- lovely, also becoming quite trendy
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]- gorgeous. I’d applaud someone who used this.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]- lovely, also becoming quite trendy
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f]/[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] (which spelling do you prefer?)- I don’t have a strong preference on the spelling. I love this name and it is so underused.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]- lovely, also becoming quite trendy

So every name on here is beautiful, but many are currently very popular among the socioeconomic group you probably fall under. The stunners for me are:

  • [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Susanna/name_f

The reason we have [name_f]Celia[/name_f] as a possible nickname for [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] is we like both; killing two birds with one stone? [name_m]Just[/name_m] as [name_f]Nora[/name_f] can be a full name on its own but we also like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] so why not use both? That sort of deal

I love, love, love your list and I actually think you can’t go wrong with any of the names on there so I think you need to see which ones sit right with you, sound best with your last name, try using the name in real life etc.

You have my favourite girl’s name on your list so I obviously lean towards that one and that’s [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. However, I love [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] so they would make up my top 5 from your long list.

[name_f]My[/name_f] least favourites would be; [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (too mainstream in the UK), [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] (a bit too mum-sy for me), [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] (never liked the sound of it) and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] ([name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f] names are too popular in the UK).

I like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] and [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] too, they’re all so pretty.

So many beautiful names!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are:

[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]

Hmm, I don’t know. I know someone named [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] and have never heard anyone refer to her as [name_f]Cece[/name_f]/CiCi, but she is an older woman. I think [name_f]CeCe[/name_f]/CiCi would only be appropriate for a young child. Perhaps if you, occasionally used a short nn that you like, it would catch on and no one would call her [name_f]CeCe[/name_f]/CiCi. Maybe [name_f]Cia[/name_f], [name_m]Cees[/name_m], [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_u]Lee[/name_u], Cee, [name_f]Clia[/name_f], Cil ([name_m]Sil[/name_m]), Sis. I love [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Celia[/name_f].

Maybe you should post a new thread with that question.

I can’t find your thread about middle names. Would you copy and paste it on this list?

Thank you.

The only problem with using [name_f]Cia[/name_f], [name_m]Cees[/name_m], [name_f]Lia[/name_f], etc. is that we don’t like any of them. [name_f]Celia[/name_f] would be the only nickname we would ever want to use for [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] otherwise it we just like [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]

It wasn’t a thread about middle names necessarily; it was when I was looking for first names that created the list we now have  (the list are names that are family names which is why we can’t use them as first names). Here is the list:

[name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]/[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lila[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Mary[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
[name_f]Siena[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]

[name_u]LOVE[/name_u]

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - elegant and sophisticated
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] - a classic Irish gem with loads of spunk
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f]/[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] - if your surname begins with a vowel, choose the “H” spelling. If your ln begins with a consonant, the “a” spelling will do. I fluctuate on how to spell it depending on how the name looks written out with the surname.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - ladylike and classy
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] - sweet and lovable
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f] - a majestic choice
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - an energetic and happy choice
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - chic, stylish and [name_m]French[/name_m]
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] - this [name_m]French[/name_m] spelling is the prettiest!
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - a name of depth and history

LIKE

[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Celia[/name_f] - I prefer just [name_f]Celia[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] - I’m seeing this name a lot due to the animated Frozen film.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - I actually knew two in one small office so it’s overused in my personal experience.

DISLIKE

[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] - a tragic heroine and “o-feel-yah” teasing make it a no-go
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] - not a fave

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites:
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]

Neutral:
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]

Dislike:
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]

Wahoo! You have a list! And it’s an awesome list! I’ll tell you what I think of the names, and, if you’re thinking of having more kiddos in the future, I thought I’d try and see which I like with your boy taste best ([name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] for now):

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - I think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is sorely underused. She’s sort of an “every-girl” name in that she’s so wearable. She’s perky and fun, but also elegant and understated. I love this name.
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] - Again, another name you don’t hear too often, but why? It’s a fun, spunky name that still sounds grown-up, so I like that. Plus, although she’s totally nickname-proof if that’s how you want to go, she can also be [name_f]Bee[/name_f], [name_f]Bebe[/name_f], [name_f]Brie[/name_f], [name_f]Bridie[/name_f], or [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] if you like any of that stuff. I like this name.
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Celia[/name_f] - I prefer the spelling [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] personally, and if you hate [name_f]Cece[/name_f] as a nickname, it is avoidable. I know one who goes exclusively by [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]! Or, call her your intended nickname of [name_f]Celia[/name_f]. There are more nicknames than just [name_f]Cece[/name_f] and [name_f]Celia[/name_f], of course, such as [name_f]Celie[/name_f], [name_f]Ciel[/name_f], or [name_f]Lia[/name_f], but pick your favorite. This is a classic that you don’t hear everyday, and it’s very pleasant and strong. I like this name.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - A name that has been on and off my own list since I loved it as a little girl, I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is very appealing. She can sound a little stuffy, I guess, but I think her rising use is shaking that prim image. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is a pretty, compact name with style and sophistication. I like this name.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] - I think [name_f]Clara[/name_f] can present some pronunciation issues (will it rhyme with [name_f]Claire[/name_f] or with [name_f]Zara[/name_f]?), but it’s romantic and sweet and has more personality than [name_f]Claire[/name_f]/[name_u]Clare[/name_u]/[name_u]Clair[/name_u], in my opinion. Another underused vintage name, compared to cousin [name_f]Claire[/name_f], this one is ripe for the using. I like this name.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Nora[/name_f] - I have never cared for [name_f]Nora[/name_f] (blame bad associations), and I do honestly find [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] rather bland. However, [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is one of those firm classics that you can’t really mess up with. I do just think she lacks some spunk, which is something I look for in a name, personally. I’m marginal on this name.
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] - A sweet [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] diminutive that hasn’t gotten due attention until now, especially with Frozen! [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is proper and staid, but she’s also slightly cozy and feminine. I really like both sides of the name, and think she’s easy to wear and much more fun, and less like a nickname, than [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. I like this name.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - I had a friend name her just-a-year-old baby girl [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] last year, and I was iffy on it (I wanted her to use [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]). However, seeing that baby with this name has made it grow on me. I think [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] has the potential to be rather stuffy, middle-aged, and prim, but Ev- names are on the rise, so [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is bound to feel more “now.” I am marginal on this name.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - This is just one name, sort of like [name_f]Nora[/name_f], that I don’t think I’ll ever get behind. I in general am very picky with virtue names, but I don’t find [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] to have an attractive sound to my ear, and it’s just long. I’m marginal-negative on this name.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - This one is romantic yet user-friendly. Plus, if you wanted, [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] can be used in full or shortened to a number of pleasing nicknames. I like this name.
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] - I think we’re finally getting out of the I’m-so-sick-of-[name_f]Madeline[/name_f] phase of naming and can re-appreciate how truly beautiful [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is. She’s sweet and proper but still fun and youthful. I like this name.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - This is a comfy, feminine, and sweet name, but she lacks a little bit in the sophisticated elegance domain. I find [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] to be harsher than some longer ends-in-A names, because of that heavy T consonant, but overall she has a warm image. I am marginal-positive on this name.
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] - Romantic, princess-like, charming, and feminine. That about sums up this one. I wonder if it goes a little too far, whereas I’d prefer [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] in her place, but [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] has an attractive sound and plays into the [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] princess craze of now. I’m marginal-positive on this name.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] - [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] will never win me over from similar-ish [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], which I adore, but she’s versatile and fun. I like how you can go with [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] in full, or shorten that to fit just about any personality ([name_u]Penny[/name_u], [name_f]Nell[/name_f], [name_f]Nellie[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_u]Pen[/name_u], [name_u]Peri[/name_u]). It’s a grown-up name that works for girls of all ages. I like this name.
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f]/[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] - I’m really thinking this name needs to come back into use. I’ll admit that I’m really not a fan of [name_f]Susan[/name_f], and it’s probably because I find [name_f]Sue[/name_f] ridiculously unappealing (sorry to all you ladies named [name_f]Sue[/name_f]!), but I actually quite like the warm, comfy, cozy, feminine image of [name_f]Susanna/name_f. She’s lovely in full, she means “lily,” and she can be shortened to so many more things than just [name_f]Susie[/name_f] ([name_f]Sosie[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_u]Sunny[/name_u], etc.) if you like a nickname. Or not, if you don’t. Today I’ll say I like [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], as this was [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m]'s daughter’s name, but I like the advice about using the H if it looks better with your last name. I like this name. Maybe love…
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] - I’ll admit I think [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is a lot of fun, but that said, she just feels a little too young and playful to me! I like the possible nicknames of [name_f]Tula[/name_f] and [name_f]Lula[/name_f], but for a tot. I’m marginal-negative on this name.

I realize I only said I loved one name, which probably isn’t really accurate (even though I do think [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is divine!). [name_m]Just[/name_m] going off the names, my favorites are [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], and [name_f]Susanna/name_f. However, taking into consideration that a possible brother might be [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] or [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] (or thus similarly named), I’d say the names I like best with those are (1) [name_f]Susanna/name_f, (2) [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], (3) [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], and (4) it pains me to say it, [name_f]Felicity[/name_f].

Good luck!

PS Because you do have such a long list of so many great family names, I think it would be well worth your and your husband’s time to think about (1) if you want to honor family in the middle, (2) who is most important for you to honor with this baby’s name, and (3) if you want to use the person’s exact name or a different way to honor them (e.g., name variant [[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f] for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], for example, or [name_f]Catriona[/name_f] for [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]], birth flower, birth stone, etc.).

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - Has never been my sort of name. I just don’t like it. Sorry.
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] - Really pretty! The nn Birdy is totally avoidable if you don’t like it, but while she’s little, I think it’s super cute! Otherwise, just [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] is lovely.
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Celia[/name_f] (maybe [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Celia[/name_f]?) - If you want to avoid [name_f]CeCe[/name_f]/CiCi for sure, name her [name_f]Celia[/name_f] and you will never get that nn. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ceil[/name_f]? It was mentioned by a friend, and I think it’s beautiful. I don’t like [name_f]CeCe[/name_f] either, and I think if you tell people, “her name is [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] but we call her [name_f]Celia[/name_f]” that would be fine and no one would call her [name_f]CeCe[/name_f]. Of course, if she wants to be called [name_f]CeCe[/name_f] when she’s older, that’s what she’ll do.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f]! I know a 2 1/2 year old named [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and she’s lovely. I love this name! So many great nicknames, and if you don’t care about popularity, I love it!
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] - Not my favourite, but I see the appeal.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Nora[/name_f] (maybe [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f]?) - I don’t like [name_f]Nora[/name_f], but [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is lovely! nn [name_f]El[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] would be great!
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] - So pretty! I feel in love with this after seeing Frozen. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. So pretty! I love [name_f]Elsa[/name_f]. Haha, have I said it enough? [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] [name_f]Elsa[/name_f].
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] - I like [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], but it’s lost it’s sparkle. [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is a great nn though! (Totally avoidable as I know 3 [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]'s and only 1 goes by [name_f]Evie[/name_f], but idk why you’d want to avoid [name_f]Evie[/name_f]).
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] - [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is really pretty. It has a ton of old school charm. Not as great as [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], but pretty.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - One of those names that really depends on the days. Some days I think it’s way too long, other days when I love it. nn’s are sooooo great! [name_f]Gen[/name_f], [name_f]Ginny[/name_f], [name_f]Genie[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Viv[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Neve[/name_f], [name_f]Neva[/name_f] so many options! Today, I don’t love [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], but I love her nicknames.
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] - I’m not sure if I love the name, or if I love the [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]/[name_f]Maddy[/name_f]'s I know, but I love [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] is normally how I see it, but both ways are nice. This is a classic that has been revived a lot in the past 20 years.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - Reminds me of the children’s book character from the book [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f]. I love that book, so since reading it to my campers at camp, I like it. They did too.
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] - SO pretty! I love it as [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], but it’s so stunning! I can’t really imagine it as a first name, but if you’re brave enough, know that I’m 110% behind you!
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name, but I don’t like the nn [name_u]Penny[/name_u]. It sounds cheap. But I love the melodical sounds of ‘nelope’. Stunning.
[name_f]Susanna[/name_f]/[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] - I don’t like either. Sounds like a cow girl. I prefer it without the H though.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] - A few years ago there was a girl named [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Does The Hula From [name_m]Hawaii[/name_m]. Not sure if this is real, but every time I read the name, that’s what I think of. Sounds a bit ditzy if you know what I mean. But it is nice.

Top 4: [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helped!
