[name_f]Do[/name_f] [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] and [name_u]Reese[/name_u] (boy) work as siblings?
I worry because of the repetition of “[name_u]Reese[/name_u]” between Ta-[name_u]REESE[/name_u]-uh and [name_u]Reese[/name_u]
The pronunciation is close and I do not think they are suitable as sibling names tbh.
I agree, they do sound way too similar to be siblings.
I think they work in sound, just.
But I don’t like the spelling of [name_u]Reese[/name_u].
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is much nicer
I wouldn’t use them myself, because I think it would be quite repetitive, but I don’t think it’s absolutely horrible.
They sound so so similar. I would avoid using both. You could use [name_f]Tess[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Theresa[/name_f]. Or [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] instead of [name_u]Reese[/name_u].
[name_f]Theresa[/name_f] and [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] or [name_f]Tess[/name_f] and Resse sound less samey.
Not too close to me, but I pronounce [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] with more “res” than “rees” sound.
I find them to clash, so I wouldn’t. Although I do pronounce them like te-REEZ-uh and [name_u]REES[/name_u], so [name_u]Reese[/name_u] is softer, I do find them way too close.
I agree they are too similar in sound for siblings.
