Last night at 8:30 PM, I gave birth to twin boys named [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. We are already parents to a beautiful two-year-old girl named [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
Those who saw my initial post recognize how early these babies are! It was a horrible scare. [name_u]Baby[/name_u] B, who ended up being [name_u]Rory[/name_u], was in distress, and they ended up arriving at 33 weeks. But another emotional part of the experience was coming up with the little guys’ names!
We had [name_m]Graham[/name_m]'s name picked out for a couple of days before I went into labor, but we were still slightly shaky on it. Mostly, it was due to the fear that people would mispronunce his name, calling him “[name_m]Gram[/name_m]” rather than “[name_u]Gray[/name_u]-um.” However, we decided it wasn’t that big of a deal. We love to call him [name_u]Gray[/name_u]! [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is the name of my father, who has been wonderfully supportive of me and my family throughout my entire life.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]'s name was much more of a struggle. Our daughter has trouble pronouncing her “r’s,” so we were very concerned about her butchering his name into “Worwy.” However, we decided it wasn’t too big of a deal. We were deciding between [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u], but at the last minute, we decided on [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is for my little brother who tragically lost his life to leukemia at age 8 five years ago.
Congratulations! [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] are both super handsome, and [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_m]Graham[/name_m], and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] are perfection together! All the best!
[name_f]Happy[/name_f] to read of their safe arrival! Our [name_m]Graham[/name_m]'s nn is [name_m]Gram[/name_m] so I think starting out calling him [name_u]Gray[/name_u] is a great idea. Your honorifics are very special, good choices. [name_m]How[/name_m] is [name_f]Elena[/name_f] doing with trying to say [name_u]Rory[/name_u]? This will be so cute!

They’re currently doing really well! We are just so delighted to have them with us.
[name_f]Elena[/name_f] absolutely loves the boys and currently calls them by their nicknames, [name_u]Gray[/name_u] and [name_f]Ro[/name_f]. Although she does say “Wo,” it doesn’t bother us to much… we think it’s adorable! And plus we’ll have plenty of bribing material when she is fifteen (Hubby loves to record the kids).
