What are some names, combos, ideas that you’ve thought of and wouldn’t use? It may simply be because you absolutely hate it, or some other reason that has led you to think of something you can’t or won’t use – but are willing to share it and see if anyone else likes it. Here are a few I’ve thought of:
[name]Cleona[/name] nn [name]Clea[/name] (I know that [name]Clea[/name] is pronounced [name]CLAY[/name]-uh but for my purposes I would pronounce it CLEE-ah) – maybe a story character?
[name]Emma[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] – I actually like this, but feel [name]Emma[/name] is too common
[name]Emma[/name] Rhee – Rhee is an actual name I have come across, might be funny because it sounds a bit like [name]Emery[/name]
[name]Samantha[/name] – very clear-sounding, but I wouldn’t use it
[name]Miranda[/name] – again, has a graceful air but not exactly my style, I would especially recommend this
[name]Morganna[/name] or [name]Morwenna[/name] or [name]Amoret[/name] nn [name]Mora[/name] – I like all those names, they’re very mysteriously pretty, and [name]Mora[/name] isn’t a condensed form of [name]Maura[/name], it’s a Spanish name meaning “blackberry”
[name]Milena[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] – a combo I thought of for a story and didn’t end up using
[name]Katya[/name] [name]Olwen[/name] – a combo I thought of but couldn’t use because I ended up meeting a [name]Katya[/name] who ruined the name for me
Siblings called [name]Clara[/name], [name]Clover[/name], and [name]Clemmie[/name] – the two syllable CL theme is obviously way too much! I was just fooling around and thought of it.
Felisha Irene – not my style at ALL, but I like the rhythm and the way the names go together
Jordana Elise nn Dani – I dislike Jordan and Jordana too, and Elise isn’t really my style, but it’d go on someone else’s kid, maybe?
Violet Claire – sadly I can’t use Claire because of a negative connotation with a person, but I love Violet
Violet Clementine – sounds like it’s a purple orange, but they’re both legitimate names
Lettie as a nickname for Violet – could be really cute, and a different way to get to Lettie than something like Leticia
Sophelia, a mix of Sophie and Ophelia – not big on invented names but this is pretty cute!
Lizza – I don’t know if this exists, it’s pronounced Liz-ah
Camma – offbeat, sounds like Gamma, maybe a way to get to Cammie?
Siblings named Delta and Tribeca nn Ellie and Becca – just a thought
Laurella – one of those mash-ups like Sophelia
Clodelia – I’ve always felt that this sounds like a really name
