[name]Charles[/name]/[name]Charlie[/name] is a name my mom always wanted to use, but never got the chance to. But it’s also a name I really love myself, and I’d love to give my mom a little [name]Charlie[/name]. And my grandmother was a [name]Ruth[/name], so I love the connection with that to [name]Boaz[/name]. [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Noah[/name] I just really love. Anyhow, thoughts? Which do you like with the other names in my signature?
I like all these choices! All strong names with cute nicknames. The only thing would be, I would go with [name]Bo[/name] instead of [name]Beau[/name] as a nickname for [name]Boaz[/name]. [name]Beau[/name] looks more attractive but [name]Bo[/name] makes more sense.
I really like [name]Charles[/name] nn [name]Charlie[/name]. I would have it on my own list, but my hubby isn’t on board. I also really like [name]Noah[/name] even though it goes against my usual tastes.
Not a fan of [name]Samuel[/name] or [name]Boaz[/name].
My two favorites are [name]Boaz[/name] and [name]Noah[/name]. I like [name]Boaz[/name] because of the Biblical story (that story is why I love Noemí so much) and I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Noah[/name]. It’s super popular but I’ve stopped caring about that and I know that doesn’t bother you. There are so many [name]Charles[/name] ([name]Charlie[/name]) and Samuels around. I have yet to meet a [name]Noah[/name]. [name]Hope[/name] that helps!
I have always loved both [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Noah[/name]! I think you should add [name]Charles[/name], [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Samuel[/name] because I think they have the same feel to them as the other boys’ names in your signature.
Yes, generally popularity doesn’t bother me at all… I’m just trying to decide if I can get past it for [name]Noah[/name]. I don’t really think that it’s because it’s popular that I’m bothered by it–it’s that I know someone with the name. It’s a petty reason for not liking it (and it’s not just that I know someone with the name–I know a couple Calebs, and that doesn’t put me off the name), but I’m not sure I can get past it. Honestly, right now, I think [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Samuel[/name] are my favorites, but I want to use [name]Boaz[/name] so bad–I love the story and the connection to my grandmother.
I’ve loved both [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Charlie[/name] since I was little! [name]Boaz[/name] is a little “out there” but cute… I like the nickname [name]Beau[/name] for it. And [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Noah[/name] are great, classic names. So I would add all of them to your list! Of the other boy names in your signature, I especially like [name]Caleb[/name], [name]Asher[/name], [name]Jack[/name], [name]Greyson[/name], [name]Brody[/name], and [name]Spencer[/name].
Ahh, that’s my dilemma! I really want to use them all, but I really don’t want more than 10 names on my list, once I get past 10 it seems semi-unmanageable, but my OCD is not pleased with an uneven top 9, haha. I honestly don’t want to narrow it down, I really love [name]Charlie[/name], [name]Boaz[/name], and [name]Samuel[/name]. Maybe I should just give up and have a top 12–I’ve been having the same problem with [name]Eva[/name], [name]Catherine[/name], and [name]Tess[/name] for my girls’ list, too.
[name]Noah[/name] is the only one I don’t like. It’s always sounded like a groan to me - “no, uh!”
I love [name]Sam[/name] and [name]Charlie[/name] together; to me they’re the perfect pair of brothers. I have a preference for [name]Samuel[/name] because it’s one of my absolute favorites, but I also like the meaning that [name]Charles[/name] has for you. [name]Boaz[/name] is great too, but it stands out against your other favorites. It’d make a great middle name.
I second the pp, [name]Noah[/name] is the only one I am not a fan of. I know quite a few Sams, which throws me off. I would love, love, love to meet a little [name]Boaz[/name]. Not kidding, that would make, not my day, my life!
Aww, thank you! I think I would feel the same way about [name]Boaz[/name], I think it’s seriously cool! I’m just afraid the world wouldn’t agree. I’m still a bit up-in-the-air–I’m thinking of extending my list to a top 12 for each gender, so I can keep all three, [name]Sam[/name], [name]Charlie[/name], and [name]Boaz[/name] (same with [name]Eva[/name], [name]Catherine[/name], and [name]Tess[/name] for my girls’ list).
