We are expecting our third child, a brother for [name_m]John[/name_m] ("[name_m]Jack[/name_m]") and [name_m]Walter[/name_m].
We recently fell in love with the name [name_m]Paul[/name_m] for this baby.
I think it works, but it is fairly different in style from the names that have been on my possible-third name list for years. Other names we like are [name_m]Cormac[/name_m], [name_u]Alden[/name_u], [name_m]Christopher[/name_m], [name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m], and [name_u]Francis[/name_u].
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] & [name_m]Walter[/name_m] are adorable. I think that [name_m]Paul[/name_m] is perfect for #3. It’s classic, kind & simple.
Here are my thoughts on the rest of your list:
[name_m]Cormac[/name_m]-This is okay. It seems a little out of left field next to [name_m]Jack[/name_m] & [name_m]Walter[/name_m]. It’s not bad though.
[name_u]Alden[/name_u]-Ooh, I like this. It’s simple yet unique. It’s old fashioned, boyish but not too macho, & smart. Fits in great!
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m]-This is a fine name, but it’s just been so over done for the past…well…50 years? I do love the nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] though, & that’d be adorable w/[name_m]Jack[/name_m] & [name_m]Walter[/name_m].
[name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m]-This seems a little fancy, but it’s a cool name. I love the nns [name_u]Teddy[/name_u], [name_m]Thatch[/name_m] or Thax. [name_m]Thad[/name_m] & [name_m]Tad[/name_m] are okay too.
[name_u]Francis[/name_u]-I like this. It’s old fashioned & a little old man-ish like [name_m]Walter[/name_m]. Very charming & unexpected. I feel like it’s getting a tad popular for girls though, so that’s something to consider.
