[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all! We are having a third girl and need ideas on some of our names on our list, or fresh ideas we haven’t considered! Our two others are [name_f]Gia[/name_f] and [name_f]Mila[/name_f]. Some names we’re considering are: [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Gabriella[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Chiara[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Nina[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Adriana[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Isabella[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Marcella[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Calla[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Carina[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
Thoughts on any of these on our list? or any to add? Thank you for your input!
Congratulations!
My favorites with Gia and Mila are Nina and Chiara!
I wouldn’t use Gabriella as it shares an ending with Mila, and Gia could easily be a nickname for it! I also likely wouldn’t use any of the names with same endings (Sofia, Calla) but many families use similar-ending names with no problem, so if you’re fine with it, I wouldn’t let that stop you! Celia also has the same ending as Gia but is stressed on different syllables so would probably be fine! Since Isabella and Marcella are longer, the same ending isn’t as noticeable as with Calla, which has the same number of syllables and the same ending as Mila.
Overall, my favorite pick for you is Chiara, as it’s two syllables (depending on how you’re pronouncing it) ends in -a, and has a cross-cultural appeal like Gia and Mila, but sounds very distinct from them at the same time!
Cora
Clara
Daniela
Ava/Eva
Nora
Emilia (has the same ending as Gia, but is much longer so sounds distinct enough to work)
Viviana
Alessia
Cassia
Callista
Katya
I love your girl’s names. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from your list are [name_f]Calla[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f]. Another idea is the name [name_f]Della[/name_f]?
Gi@ & Mil@ are fashionable, chic and elegant. They feel fashion forward short choices so I would probably use a name that has the same feel. I would probably go with
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite with [name_f]Gia[/name_f] & [name_f]Mila[/name_f] is [name_f]Nina[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Adriana[/name_f] & [name_f]Carina[/name_f].
I love the name [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f], but sadly, I would eliminate it because [name_f]Gia[/name_f] can be seen as a nickname for [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f]. I would probably avoid the names ending in -ia and -la as well. [name_f][/name_f][name_f]My[/name_f] favorites for your 3rd baby are [name_f]Chiara[/name_f], [name_f]Nina[/name_f] and [name_f]Adriana[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] vote goes to [name_f]Adriana[/name_f]! It’s a gorgeous name and such an precious underused choice for a girl!
[name_f][/name_f]
You cleary have a preference for girly names that contain the letters A and I. For your 3rd baby, I would suggest: [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Belinda[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Linnea[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sara[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Luana[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Vita[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Carys[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Anita[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elisa[/name_f] or [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Abigail[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Edna[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rita[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Oriana[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Amanda[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Vivian[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Dina[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Erica[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Alva[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Dora[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Aura[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Ines[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
How do you pronounce [name_f]Celia[/name_f]? [name_f][/name_f]Favorites: [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Carina[/name_f] (maybe nn Nina) [name_f][/name_f]I also like [name_f]Celina[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Nina[/name_f] and is on my list) [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
I personally like [name_f]Nina[/name_f] but would use it as nn rather than full name.
[name_f][/name_f]
Other good options [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Alia[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Aria[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Bella[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Zoey[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Zara[/name_f]
