We currently have a family tradition that was an accidental coincidence. All of our children (a blended family) have 2-3 syllables in their first name and feature the letter “y.” We are expecting number 7 in [name_u]June[/name_u] and have been putting together a list of names we like or love. We prefer to stay out of the popular name list but also not venture into the extreme inventive realm. We love names with strong history and meaning.
Our two boys are Daltyn [name_m]Andersen[/name_m] and [name_u]Darryl[/name_u] [name_m]Maverick[/name_m]. We know that we do not want to go with another D name. A names and R names are also out.
One name that has caught our fancy is [name_m]Langston[/name_m] but with the slight variation to Langstyn. Thiughts? Other suggestions? Thanks for the help!
I think it works well with your other names. I know you don’t want another D, but [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] comes to mind.
I like [name_m]Langston[/name_m], and Langstyn does work well with your other boys. Other suggestions I think of include [name_u]Hayden[/name_u], [name_m]Greyson[/name_m], [name_u]Peyton[/name_u], [name_u]Rylan[/name_u], and (my personal favorite) [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u].
[name_m]Langston[/name_m] works well with your other boys. I prefer the traditional spelling, but I understand the importance of the Y for your family! Other options (with the y spelling) :
[name_m]Landyn[/name_m]
[name_m]Declyn[/name_m]
[name_u]Austyn[/name_u]
Griffyn
[name_m]Findlay[/name_m]
[name_m]Trentyn[/name_m]
[name_u]Romy[/name_u]
[name_m]Lysander[/name_m]
Fynnigan
Odyn
[name_m]Clayton[/name_m]
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]
