We are over halfway through pregnancy number three (another boy) and CAN’T decide on a name to go with his two older brothers.
Committing to a name was so difficult last time, our son was nameless for the first 24 hours!
Brothers names are [name_m]Boyd[/name_m] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u].
I would really love to stick with one syllable names. Other criteria are 1) unique (not too popular) 2) masculine 3) easy to say and spell and 4) go with his brothers names.
[name_f]My[/name_f] list so far includes:
[name_u]Reid[/name_u]
[name_m]Luke[/name_m] (popular, I know, but I can’t take it off my list yet)
[name_u]Hayes[/name_u]
[name_m]Cole[/name_m]
[name_u]Max[/name_u]
You have a great list! They’re more popular than [name_m]Boyd[/name_m] but other than [name_m]Luke[/name_m] they’re not too much different in popularity than [name_u]Finn[/name_u].
I think [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] has the country drawl (in a sense) that [name_m]Boyd[/name_m] has, whereas the others fit many personality types. [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] has a main one, just as [name_m]Boyd[/name_m] does, in my opinion. [name_u]Finn[/name_u], as well, feels very laidback and relaxed— [name_m]Boyd[/name_m] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u] give me the imagery of hot [name_u]Texas[/name_u] sun beating down whilst you lay outdoors in a grassy field or yard on a beach chair with the sounds of cicadas and birds around you in the warm summer breeze. [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] gives me the same, so my vote goes to the lovely [name_u]Hayes[/name_u]!
Love Max and Luke (two wonderful one syllable names along with Finn and Jack). I like Reid - are you ok with same ending as Boyd? The fossil fuel association with Cole is problematic for me. +1 Ross, Drew & Neil. Or Bram, Pierce, Blaise, Heath? Not my style as much, but Wells is a good suggestion.
