Third bundle of pink!!

[name]Just[/name] found out having baby girl #3!! Older daughters are [name]Anna[/name], age 7 and [name]Julia[/name], age 5. These are some of the names my husband and I are thinking about.

[name]Josephine[/name]- DH’s grandfather was [name]Joseph[/name] and we would have named a son [name]Joseph[/name]
[name]Rosemary[/name]- My mother’s MN is [name]Rose[/name] and DH’s grandma was [name]Rhoda[/name]
[name]Rose[/name]- same as above
[name]Margaret[/name]- DH’s father was [name]Mark[/name]

My daughters’ first names are not named after any family but thought it might be nice this time around but not most important. [name]Both[/name] girls have my mother’s maiden name as their middle name and this daughter would also. Our last name sounds like “Urtizcheck” and nothing sounds particulary good with it so it’s not a big deal for me either. I would love to hear any ideas about my short list or add to it. Thanks a bunch!!

[name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name] are great names! I love most of your list, especially [name]Rose[/name], [name]Rosemary[/name], [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Louisa[/name], and [name]Eloise[/name]. If I met sisters named [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name], and any of those five names, I would swoon.

[name]Josephine[/name]- I like this name a lot, but the two J initials ([name]Julia[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name]) bother me a bit. That’s mostly just me, though.
[name]Rosemary[/name]- [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name], and [name]Rosemary[/name] are absolutely gorgeous together!
[name]Rose[/name]- I can’t decide if I prefer [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Rosemary[/name]-- both are amazing on their own and with [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name].
[name]Margaret[/name]- [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name], and [name]Margaret[/name] make the ultimate classic sibset. I really love this, and [name]Margaret[/name] comes with a bunch of nicknames, too… [name]Meg[/name], [name]Greta[/name], [name]Maisie[/name], [name]Daisy[/name]…
[name]Louisa[/name]- this is one of my favorite names. The only issue for me is that all three names would end in A-- which is pretty much a non-issue.
[name]Tessa[/name]- I find it too nicknamey, though I do think it can stand alone pretty well. [name]Theresa[/name] nicknamed [name]Tessa[/name] would be nice.
[name]Eloise[/name]- a new favorite of mine, and I think it brings an element of spunk to the sibset. [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name], and [name]Eloise[/name].
[name]Beatrix[/name]- I’ve never liked this name, and it seems like it would be a mouthful with your last name.
[name]Eliza[/name]- I’ve also never been fond of this one. I like it better as a nickname for [name]Elizabeth[/name], anyway.

I think [name]Tessa[/name] would go well with [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name]! I don’t think it’s nicknamey but then I have met a few Tessas and it was their given name, so maybe that’s why. I love the nn [name]Tess[/name].

My vote definetly goes for [name]Rosemary[/name]! [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Rosemary[/name]:swoon

I love either [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Louise[/name]/a with [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name]. [name]Rosemary[/name] is a favorite of mine but it seems long in comparison to her sisters and in conjunction with the last name. [name]Eloise[/name] would be a great fit too.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name] together! [name]Both[/name] beautiful classics. [name]Tessa[/name] and [name]Eliza[/name] are two of my favorite names and I think they both sound best with [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name] from your list.

[name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name], & [name]Tessa[/name]
[name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name], & [name]Eliza[/name]

[name]Love[/name] them both!

1 [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name] & [name]Louisa[/name]
2 [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name] & [name]Rosemary[/name]
3 [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name] & [name]Margaret[/name]

I would go with one of these beautiful sets…
[name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name], & [name]Tessa[/name]
[name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name], & [name]Louisa[/name]
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Julia[/name], & [name]Rose[/name]

I may be a little bit biased, but I think that [name]Rose[/name] goes perfectly with your girls’ names! I really like [name]Tessa[/name] with [name]Anna[/name] & [name]Julia[/name], as well. Like the other two, it ends in an ‘a’ so it doesn’t really stick out from the other two. I do think that [name]Tessa[/name] and [name]Anna[/name] are slightly too similar for me, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue for you!

I would definitely go with [name]Rose[/name] over [name]Rosemary[/name] - [name]Rosemary[/name] seems a lot more dated than [name]Rose[/name], as well as being very different from [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name] in terms of length.

I love [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name], and [name]Rose[/name] together. Such understaded elegance. [name]Margaret[/name] would be nice as well. Maybe [name]Rose[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]?

@Leah_9: This is slightly off subject, and I apologize to the OP if this is annoying. I love your suggestion of [name]Rose[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]! My almost-name (changed mere hours before my birth) was [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Rose[/name] ([name]Maggie[/name] [name]Rose[/name])!

I vote for:

[name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name] & [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name] & [name]Eloise[/name]

I prefer [name]Eloise[/name], but [name]Rose[/name] sounds great as well with the other names.

Another vote for [name]Rosemary[/name]. Also, as others have mentioned, although I adore [name]Josephine[/name], I might avoid it since it would be matching with one sib but not the other.

I like how leah_9 put. The sibset [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name], and [name]Rose[/name] is subtle, “understated elegance.” Some of the names on your list overpower [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name].

Such as:

So I would stick with one of the following:

My vote goes to [name]Rose[/name]!

[name]Rose[/name] gets my vote. [name]Lovely[/name]!

  1. [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Rose[/name]
  2. [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Eliza[/name]
  3. [name]Anna[/name], [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Margaret[/name]

[name]May[/name] I ask what [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name]'s middle names are?

Congratulations! Your girls’ names are beautiful. My vote goes to either [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Margaret[/name], but all of your names are beautiful. The only name I don’t love on your list is [name]Eloise[/name], because it’s becoming a bit trendy and your daughters names are so classic. Good luck!

I think simple and sweet would compliment [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name] perfectly.
[name]Josephine[/name]- It would overpower [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name], and I find [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name] a little too matchy-matchy, [name]Anna[/name] might feel like the off one out.
[name]Rosemary[/name]- Again, overpowering.
[name]Rose[/name]- Very pretty and sweet, and it compliments [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Anna[/name] quite nicely.
[name]Margaret[/name]- It’s a pretty name, but it doesn’t really suit [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name] very well.
[name]Louisa[/name]- Nice, but not my favourite.
[name]Tessa[/name]- Very sweet name, and it shares the a sound at the end of the name like [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name] do.
[name]Eloise[/name]- [name]Eloise[/name] is one of my favourite names, but the sound doesn’t compliment the names as nicely as [name]Tessa[/name] and [name]Rose[/name] do.
[name]Beatrix[/name]- It would sort of overpower [name]Anna[/name] and [name]Julia[/name].
[name]Eliza[/name]- I like this a lot, for the same reasons as [name]Tessa[/name].

So all in all, I like these names, but I think my vote would go either to [name]Eliza[/name] or [name]Rose[/name].
TTFN!

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I think we are leaning toward [name]Eloise[/name] although I would pick [name]Louisa[/name] if I got to make the decision. As soon as we found out we were having a girl I thought, [name]Louisa[/name]!! My husband isn’t as fond of it though and prefers [name]Eloise[/name]. My girls’ middle names are Belleville, my mother’s maiden name. I always thought it was such a pretty name and it reminds me of my grandpa. If anyone has any others names that look like my style, I would love to hear suggestions. Thanks!!
